Review of Dreamgirls at Rick's
So a couple of Thursday's ago, on a whim, I finally made it out to Dreamgirls at Rick's. As my username suggests, I was a regular back at the Rick's of old, but hadn't ventured in to the new Rick's since I generally don't like the Deja Vu clubs. However, I'd heard a rumor that a cute, curvy bikini barista by the name of "Rosa" had since moved on to Rick's Wed-Fri nights, and figured I'd check the place out (and hopefully she'd be working).
I rolled on in at 11, and sadly there would turn out to be no Rosa working. However, the trip was not a complete loss, and I have a lot to report on this club. If anyone knows more about Rosa from Girltown Espresso, please let me know here or via PM! Similarly, if you know the stripper-name of that Kayo / Kaylo in my below report, please correct my spelling / name.
# Appearance.
First thing: the facilities here are AMAZING. What's odd is that they're clearly dealing with the same square footage as the old Rick's, yet the place actually seems much bigger, and is far nicer / cleaner. If the Franks had just not dodged taxes, and put a little money into the place to make it look like this, the Rick's of old would have been an untouchable institution to this day. The place has a very "red" motif, when you walk in the main area is comprised of two stages (and there are TVs next to each stage which appear to show what was happening on the other stage, which is kind of cool). The seats are that usual Deja vu style tables with narrow curved style chairs (if you've been in a deja vu, you know the type). When I went in there were several women working, all of them fairly attractive to smoking hot. If I have one knock, it's the bathroom attendant- cut that shit out, Deja Vu, no one is mistaking this place for a high-end exclusive place like the "Rainier Club". At least he was funloving, sang to himself, and didn't do that hover / over-attentive thing.
# Ambience.
This being a Deja Vu, it's a low-mileage club with two dance areas, a general "VIP" room or whatever, and the "Vegas" room. Only one dancer kept trying to get me to go to the "Vegas room", which she cooed would be without the clipboard counter dude wandering around- as if I'm supposed to believe she'd be blowing me back there if I shelled out the cash. I also think I recall reading it's crazy expensive- like $200/15 min, $600 / hr plus whatever you pay the girl). I wasn't born yesterday, so I insistently passed up on this amazing "opportunity". She still gave decent dances in the main dance room. All the dances I had were nice, for Deja Vu (but again low mileage; you'd get bared breasts, some touching and a rare lick of the breasts, but nothing much more than that). The booths were very high back, and relatively private / facing away from each other such that you couldn't really see into other's booths, and the clipboard counter guy only was glancing in. If the dancers *did* want to offer more mileage, they could probably get away with it (and although I assume there were cameras in the ceiling like with all their other clubs, I couldn't actually see any so who knows?).
# The Women.
The fact that I had cash to spend and was a guy in his mid-30's in a room full of a lot of (to be frank) young Asian dudes in backwards baseball caps probably had a lot to do with why I got so much positive attention, but I appreciated that only one dancer (can't recall her name) gave me the hard-sell / brisk walk away while the rest were fairly personable. That said, I was feeling fun-loving, so got quite a few dances. There were quite a few very attractive women, although only so much time left in the night. The ladies I became acquainted with that evening were as follows.
Note, there's a "G-Strings and Stilettos" blog from an alleged ex-DJ, at dejavuinsider dot bl0gspot dot com, from which I found (publicly accessible) pictures of some dancers to share here. Since these aren't mugshot or other incriminating / embarrassing pictures- but instead ones posted by the dancers as part of the "March Madness Hottest Seattle Stripper Tournament" I figured it was okay to post these; I assume the admin / mods will edit the post as necessary:
1. Victoria- who I knew from Rick's. She actually looks better than before, seems trimmed down a little and more energetic, so good for her. I'd had and lost her number from before, but forgot to get it before I took off. And since she recognized me from the old Rick's immediately, I should have used that rapport to find out more about Rosa, and about the club. My bad, I guess.
2. Kayo / Kaylo (didn't quite hear?). A pretty girl with big seemingly-natural breasts and huge nipples. She had that Suicide Girl look- pouty face, slightly elfin up-turned nose, lots of tats, and like I said large apparently natural breasts with huge nipples.
3. McKenzie, the one with the "Vegas room" sales pitch who was still fun to dance with, and had a smoking hot, full bosomed "thick" chick look to her.
I feel like there was another dancer before McKenzie, but can't for the life of me remember her- but I'd had a couple / few drinks before rolling in, so that's probably it. .
# Summary.
Anyway, all in all it was a good club. I won't be a regular here- too many options for actual BJ / FS with ex-strippers or escorts to spend a lot of money for low mileage. But the club is probably the best one in Seattle in terms of hot girls and great facilities.
Review of Deja Vu Lakewood and Pandora
1. Review of Deja Vu Lakewood.
A while ago I decided to visit all the strips clubs in Washington. This is the first club I visited.
I visited last summer (summer of 2011) on a Sunday afternoon. Like most Washington clubs, there is no alcohol. You pay $20 for entrance which includes complimentary soda, water and coffee. I probably had 4 or 5 cups of coffee and 2 or 3 glasses of water while I was there. The coffee was not bad, weak but not burnt.
Considering that it was Sunday afternoon, there were a lot of decent-looking strippers but no 9s or 10s. Unlike most Washington strip clubs, they allowed you to come up to the stage to tip. I don't know if this had to do with different local laws or lax management.
Maybe because there were very few customers, almost all of the strippers stopped to chat and offered me lap dances. I got one dance from a slim young stripper with dyed blonde hair, an 8 on a 0-10 scale. I declined a second dance because she was wearing a baby doll. I had assumed the dance would be topless, so I didn't take her clothing into account. Don't get me wrong. I am okay with bikini dances. But I want the stripper to be wearing the smallest bikini possible.
I got several more dances from a chubby (not fat) young stripper, a 6 on a 0-10 scale. The dances were pretty good. High contact with a lot of grinding. The dances were $20, and there was no attempt by either stripper to up sell. Overall I give this place a thumbs up.
2. Review of Pandora's.
I have been to Pandora's three times. Twice on Saturday nights and once on a Tuesday night. From my experience Pandora's is better than average for a Seattle strip club. But not close to its potential.
My first visit, which took place on a Saturday in fall or early winter of 2011, was the best visit. IMO all the strippers but one were between 5 & 9 on a 0-10 attractiveness scale. The place was not too busy so even the most attractive strippers were friendly and offered me lap dances. I got lap dances from two strippers. "Victoria" and another stripper. Both strippers did a lot of grinding and were comfortable with me touching their legs, stomach and breasts, but Victoria's dances were better. She was more playful and obviously had more experience giving dances.
My second visit, which was on a Saturday in early 2012, was not as good. There were more strippers and many more customers, but overall the strippers were much less attractive. (I am guessing that Pandora's lost some talent to Dreamgirls at Rick's.) I got lap dances from two strippers. One stripper wanted $30 per dance. I refused to pay more than $20, which was the listed price, and she gave me a dance that was not worth 30 cents. The other stripper gave pretty good lap dances. A lot of grinding & some rubbing of my crotch with her hands. But she was not attractive enough to make the dances exciting. Overall it was not a horrible experience but not worth the 2-3 hours and $100-$200 that I spent there.
The last time I visited Pandora's was on a Tuesday in February 2012. I was curious to see what the place would be like on weekday night. There were only 3 strippers working. IMO 2 of the strippers were not at all attractive. The third stripper was very attractive and did some amazingly sexy dances on stage. But this stripper was not in a friendly mood and spent most of her time playing with her phone. So I watched the stage dances for about 20 minutes and then left.
