Big Tree Spa - disappointing
Having passed it a couple of times and calling to see what they do, I finally was in the mood to try Big Tree Spa. It's just south of Penn on 8th Ave. They offer a TS and 1 hour massage for $70. Even though I thought $70 to be too inexpensive for both I was in the mood for some pampering. Keep in mind as you read this that I was in the mood for a good massage. That's always my primary goal - anything else is gravy.
Paid the $70 at the door and was led in to a changing room. Nice enough place, clean and quiet. Was told to change into a robe and someone would come get me. The masseuse (never actually asked her name) left me in the dry sauna for a few minutes and then took me to the table. Now I've had many (many) body scrubs before and had high expectations... and was very disappointed. She worked me with a fairly smooth cloth with no particular rhythm or enthusiasm. No playing with Mr (not-so) Happy, which was really OK with me.
The massage itself was as bad as the TS. I'll say that it was pretty relaxing but seemed that she had no training. The best part was when she rubbed my back with some hot rocks - the heat was nice and it almost made up for the poor technique.
When the hour was over she winked and gently poked at me asking if I wanted "five more minutes." Ok, I'm a guy so I said yes... Shouldn't have bothered. Decent enough HJ but she backed away and wouldn't let me touch her at all. As I'm sure most of you would agree with, when someone's touching me I want to touch too. Tipped her on the way out wishing I had thought of something else to do with my $100.
All in all a bad value for the money. A relaxing enough way to spend an hour and change, but didn't get either a good massage or good play time. I'd recommend you pass on the place.
Looking for AMP info in Midtown
Hey there. In town on business. Looking for a nice, cheap AMP in Midtown. Any info is appreciated! I trade to wade through the several pages of good posts, but there's a lot here. Not like life in the Midwest. Any hints are appreciated.
Also, my wife is here. I'm tempted to get her liquored up one night and take her to a place that might service couples. I have no idea on how to address that one.- but if you have an idea lemme know.
Update on Times Square spot
Hi All,
I had a great place on either 41st or 42nd between B'way and 6th (conveniently close to the ESPNZone). It was on the 2nd or 3rd floor in a fairly industrial building but amazingly close to the bustle of Times Square. I haven't seen anything for them in a while (they used to post on CL).
Answered my own question on a recent work trip to NYC. Went into the building and the place was shut down (actually stripped down the the studs). Either got busted or decided to find cheaper rent elsewhere I presume. I did hit two of the places suggested here and they were both awesome.
Chameleon4You had amazing looking girls but the facility was a little worse for the wear. NYCAllure by contrast had very clean and nice rooms, but I thought the talent wasn't as good (amazing body but wasn't as beautiful as the girl I had at C4Y). But both great finds without a doubt.
