You guys will probably hate me for saying this, but overall I say it's a good thing. I can't stand dealers or thugs or homeless people begging me for 50 cent's. I never give them anything god forbid I actually had to stop at a gas station to get gas. It goes without saying that the rare occasion that there would actually be a SW out there have also diminished, and the one or two that were out there are probably locked up. I have never been a participant of anything going on at Shallowford but what I can say is that there has definitely been a triumph of Chamblee surrounding the area in a way I have never even witnessed. I see people not only getting pulled over every time I take this girl to work (or pick her up), but 4 and 5 cars with light strobe mania everytime I pick her up. Every time, more like 7 out of 10 times. I was also told something else, but not sure how much of it is true, she said there were actually LE and UCLE on foot with flashlights on foot walking through the woods or apartments I think she said on foot shinning lights through windows and cars doing the same thing. She thought they were looking for someone that killed somebody that was hiding out but she said it never stopped so I'm not sure what all that implies. I will say there have been a slew of advertisers on backpage though that have suddenly appeared in that area specifically. I find that highly unusual because there are seldom ever any girls that advertise on BP in that area. I looked at the girls and they all seems strong too and their faces don't appear to be the type that I've seen in the past who even do anything close to that, but they sure are dressed for it. It's probably just me though, but check it out. There have always been stings in the area from what I've heard in the past, I've never actually seen it happening though and can imagine what that entails... I don't know the person below me who claims he saw a "great looking" SW right there at the Apex and said he had a grand old time, I wasn't there to see it. Maybe he did, who knows hope he had a grand time go get it soon though because she won't be there long. Apologize for any typo's on advance.[/QUOTE]I can't speak for all of this, but I can say I saw a Chamblee that had pulled over a cab in that mini shopping plaza on Shallowford just east of Dresden. In the past, I have usually seen the Dekalb Police around there. I think Dekalb can patrol anywhere in the county, but the don't bother with cities that have their own police. The cop dude looked like he weighed 3-bills, at least. If what is said is true, the Chamblee cops may be a bit overwhelmed.
