Cell phone spyware...more bang for the buck
Appeared on Forbes recently http://www.mspy.com.
Totally agree with the principles laid out here, but I wanted to see what would pop up if I tried it on myself.
Result? Using my mongermail account, I bought the spokeo package and ran it, along with a few other emails. The only things that showed up were "legit" email accounts linked to Facebook, Picasso, etc. I didn't buy it, so I won't comment on the spying on the phone part, other than mention that it's seems like an awful lot of Intel "bang" for 27 bucks.
Again, I think NC Hunter's advice is sage and timeless, no matter how the technology changes around us. If anything, he shows us that we need to be actively seeking out the latest tech, before others find it for us.
Calling all IT and Tech Savvy Mongers
Calling all IT and Tech Savvy Mongers. In an effort to eliminate my digital footprint as much as possible I am reaching out to the forums broad wealth of knowledge. I would like to make my browsing as covert as possible. I am not so much concerned about what someone could find if they had my computer (though I am open to suggestions) as I am about what a PI or similar could trace. This goes for my android smart phone with ATnT as a carrier as well. I am all ears and open to suggestions. I have no doubt other forum members will benefit from this information.
Thank you all.
M3.
Chrome and Safari both have options.

M3.
I only use Chrome and Safari so I can only speak for them, but in chrome it is called "incognito mode", and in Safari it is "private browsing." When you use one of these features chrome says it:
"You've gone incognito. Pages you view in incognito tabs won't stick around in your browser's history, cookie store, or search history after you've closed all of your incognito tabs. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be kept.
However, you aren't invisible. Going incognito doesn't hide your browsing from your employer, your internet service provider, or the websites you visit."
I hope that helps. BTW to all on the forum, I am semi-advance when it comes to computers and phones so if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them.
Thank you my Friend, my Sister
