Ok, here she is on seeking. Got her number and talked to her for a bit over a week ago. Very strange to talk to. She said the only pictures she had were the ones on her profile so she couldn't send me another. She wanted to meet immediately. Too many red flags. She's now in North Carolina.

We had been texting back and forth for about a week trying g to coordinate a meet and greet. The other day she sent a text asking for $70. I told her we've never met plus I wasn't sure she was the person in the pictures because when I asked her to send a selfie different than the pics on the site she refused. I guess because she needed the money she sent a photo that definitely was not her but she tried to convince me it was.

"Can't send a picture" isn't in today's lexicon; "Won't send a picture" is more probable.

For whatever reason, Seeking may require identity verification and will ask you to email your legal ID to their support team. They allege your information is safe and will be deleted after review. This is not something they have done in the past. Just FYI.

You are new which makes your question somewhat understandable. When a profile has hot pics and and says they are willing to meet but want to start online, that is code for "I will never meet you. I want you to send me money without meeting. I may or may not send some pictures I copied from elsewhere on the internet. I am most likely a man but I am definitely a scammer!" Chase this profile if you have time to waste. Which some of us do.

To tag on with what Bam mentions below. Other scammer phrases may include: Like to take things slow in the beginning; When we get comfortable with each other; Shy at first but over time; Don't want to rush things. Not all profiles that use these phrases are scammers. Some are time wasters. Some may be legit. The more you read profiles on Seeking and other sites, the more experience you have interacting with whomever it is, the more you read postings here, on Dayton forum, Richmond forum, the easier is it to recognize profiles that are not worthy of pursuit.
