Notels
Thanks, Chef. I gottah say the Palm in OT is beyond my tolerance level, so it looks like it's the Starlite that's closest, unless somebody tells me there's something available on Biscayne.
There's the Palm right there in OT on NE14th St. I used it for a couple days before Christmas last year on my quest to rebuild local economies. I was only taxed $30 p / nite. At the time April was going between staying there and the Willard. Nobody really tries to mess with you in the hood, but that's my experience. Not others. I've hanged in Bronx, Hells Kitchen, Spanish Harlem and Jackson Hgts. NY; Mission Dist. SF; and alot of spots in Philly white boys don't belong.
There's the pink house, but IMO ain't worth thirteen bucks. No sir.
I have some aquaintences that have used both the hotels in US1 just South of 36th St. Recently too. He said they didn't ask anything about anything when he checked in.
I'd have to say that for the money the Starlite East on 8th St is a pretty good deal if you're gunna plunk down dinero for all night. $5 key deposit & $50 for the most decent notel room in the area. They do a 2-hour rate too, but I don't remember that price. Oh and there's the upstairs rooms with parking underneath. I heard stories from people sayin there were jacuzzis up there, but not in the 3 or 4 rooms I have been in, but you do get your own private stairway from the garage and another door up top that has a corridor to some side stairs.
The Carey is next door. $20 gets you 2-hours. A few times I offered the clerk $40 for all night and he said yes. (mid-week)
There's a place on the South side of 8th St too. Directly accross from the Carey (I think it used to be called the Renan.) It ain't very nice.
April
Hey Pipes, is this punk rocker April we're talking about?
April brought along her new friend Jessica along for some tag team action, WOW! Jessica is a skinny LSW but has nice little curves on her small frame and has great skills. April was her usual top shelf self and she looks like she's finally gained some of her weight back. Needless to say it was a great Tuesday evening.
The motel next door is El Eden, not The Carey. The Starlite is definitely the nicest motel around for the money!

As soon as I read your post I remembered that I swiped one of their ashtrays with logo 5 or 6 years ago. So that would mean the Carey is on the South side of 8th and was formerly known as the Renan.
Starlite is definately worth the price.

Saturday morning
Saw Amber along the 2nd. Picked up for a jax. She says she's staying at some half-way house near 26th and the gas station on 2nd. Out usually in the early am and evenings. She's a pro. Wish I could find that LSW Jessica though.

Little Brooke is back
I saw her Saturday morning by bk along with her scumbag bf. She looked like she gained some weight probably from jail or rehab. I had to take care of something and told her I would come back in a few but by then she was gone. Anyway look for her Saturday mornings along biscayne and 36st.

The only girl walking 184 st is that white crack head that has been there for years. She is not even walking anymore she just stands in the light of 184 st and USA to ask for money with no shoes on.
There is another girl east of USA and Caribean that walks in the early morning. I see her every time I drive around that area.
I saw a girl on the bus stop right infront of the Napa / autozone not sure right next to the big gas station on 184 and she looked like a SW with white shorts on but she looked good.
Joe.
