Just moved back to the area a little while ago and been watching the threads for a few weeks. Had some time today and went to check out Paradise around 130 and just missed their free admission. Inside was a little slow as expected. There were about 8-10 girls taking their time doing stage dance. After a couple of song stage side, I moved to the back row to relax. For the next hour, there were 5 girls came over and had the dance special with 3 of them. The quality of the girls were very good. Most of them are 7-8 in looks with a couple around 6 which is not bad at all in my opinion. 2 of the girls are more aggressive than others, and 2 of the girls I had the dance with are really open to any contact you want. My flavored was a cute spinner name Jordan I think. From this experience, I know I'll be going back real soon. Also noticed 2 other club down the road as I was heading home, Rhino and Synn. I know there were posts about them before, but would like to see some more recent experiences if anyone care to share. Glad to be home again!

They are like Paradise, technically 2 for 1 nude dances but like Paradise, you can ALWAYS ask for and receive 3 for 1 dances. Synn's is a more comfortable dance area than Paradise's. Many Synn dancers toss away all their inhibitions in the VIP which is priced lower than the absurd losers' rate charged by Paradise. Synn has also been experimenting with real VIP value on Thursdays. Offering $75 15 minute VIP sessions and the reviews so far are good. Hopefully this will spread to Paradise and they'll finally make their VIP available to working men who respect the money we work hard for and know where to draw the line when it comes to valuing nookie.

Rhino in Industry at least in its days of great popularity in another decade, was a no conscience clip joint to be charitable. Price for everything was outrageous. The stage was so dark that customers were even denied the simplest voyeuristic pleasure that you'd think the price of admission and the mandatory drink buys you. But no. At Rhino it is too dark and the stage too huge to make it possible even for rail birds to really see the girls. For those back at the tables, they could send out a group of transvestites and have them wave their dicks and dudes wouldn't know they're not looking at pussy. Posters traditionally rave about how hot the Rhino girls are. I wonder how the hell they would ever know who is hot and who is not in a pitch black closet. The jig has been up at Rhino since ages ago so I'm hearing its as empty as any other LA area club these days most of the time. I think some more customer friendly concessions have been granted, but I think it is still basically the clip joint it was during its greatest popularity.

DejaVu on Gale is another worthwhile club in the area. At least sometimes. Lately its been going downhill in all ways and certainly when it comes to the general run of mileage. But still some pleasers there and the prices are so reasonable that its always worth a stop to see what's up. $10 topless dances and $20 nude and they are at least decent mileage hands on dances. 3 for 2 and especially 2 for 1 specials are fantastic bargains VIP is comfortable for $150 for a full 30 minutes 6 days a week, and $100 on Thursdays. Pretty much the best stripclub bargain in LA if you get the right girl and not a horrendous bite if you don't. Certainly a decent spot to get in the mood and warm up for more explosive monger action that can be had at Paradise as so many of the Paradise girls only operate at full throttle.

What seem interesting to me was that Diamond Karaoke next door had many parking spaces blocked off by couple of guys wearing SECURITY t-shirts. One was sitting at the doorway as well. I've never seen a Karaoke place with that much security around. Anyone know of anything about this club?

A few years ago a friend and I (both of us whiteys) stopped over there in the early evening. It was early enough to be 75% empty and really all we wanted was a couple of drinks given that the place is a bar, so what the hell. There was no cover charge but the muscled caucasian security dude did not want us to come in."Do you sing Chinese?" he asks us as if to say that is a requirement for entry. Everybody in the room was asian. I didn't notice any kind of hostess club vibe or a group of girls segregated from the singles and couples sitting at tables. Seemed to be a regular nightclub with Karaoke format. I have been in a couple of SoCal asian social clubs where I was welcomed, but the atmosphere here was not anything like the clubs I'd been to. Didn't see any private areas either. But then again, I was viewing the place in accordance with my expectations that it was a Karaoke bar and wasn't there long enough to really look around.

Though we weren't dissuaded by the security guy from entering, we were convinced to leave when we heard the outrageous price they were going to charge us for a couple of beers. We figured that was their 2nd line of defense against white guys coming into the club, but it might make sense if in fact this is an asian hostess club as some of them are known to charge prices known only in other universes. We didn't need a beer that badly so we made them happy and hit the road.

Its usually said in a kinda manner of "its very expensive" which means in a nice manner, you are not welcome, but they don't explicitly say you're not welcome here, they imply it through non-direct means. The new place is called Monarchs. Place was pretty. Much brighter than I remember.

We went to the back. She basically upsold me and for Head I paid a total of $340. 00. You know how they are. They quote some price. You try to think and they start sucking you or jumping on you.

Indeed, we all know that that is way too much. What is sad is that she didn't see that should could take someone and never see them again.

I was no mood to haggle or get upset. Frankly, I was a little bit sad that someone needs to act that way.

I miss the old Hawaii theater. I guess for nostalgia I was willing to pay for some excitement.

But I am glad that happened to me so I can warn the team and tell everyone do not get taken by this woman.

If you are OK with paying that price its cool, but if you think it was way too much then you should share the blame along with the dancer. Its just the most fundamental street smarts applied to the strip club environment. Its easy common sense to know that there are ROBs working the floor and equally easy to stand by a rule that you won't walk into a VIP setting with a girl you don't know unless and until there is a crystal clear understanding of what the cost will be. She may STILL try to rip you off but at least you will know that there was no misunderstanding or failure to reach an agreement in advance. She'd be a thief plain and simple and you can refuse to pay more than the agreement (that is if you didn't go for the "pay the tip up front" scam. You do have to pay the house up front) , and you can go to management with the confidence of a righteous victim of an unquestioned scam instead of claiming some kind of confusion or misunderstanding.

Priya was a fixture at the old Hawaii during the last 2-3 years and was well known as a rip off artist then. The thing is, like so many others who took customers to the cleaners, Priya would victimize those she could get over on. She also had many regulars who got reasonably decent service from her at the going rate. Very simply they were the guys who knew how to avoid the traps that the clubs and the girls set and the girls can use the honest payday when they can't get their hands on the spoils of a ROBbery!

Over many years I can only think of one dancer who never backed off her crazy over the top price menu. Basically take it or leave it. That is Alyssa who was at Hawaii at the end and moved on to SRI. She didn't ROB anybody though. Just sets a crazy price upfront and has plenty of willing customers apparently to this day. Yeah she's a hot babe and pretty cool to hang with too which was the limit of my involvement with her.

My thinking was that dancers might not be aware of this site, but they might, if they're curious, google their dancer name and, say,"Paradise," upon which they'd stumble on my report. I struck out last week at Paradise. Paid them a night visit in hopes to have some fun. Jordan was there, but I wanted to see what else could be had. Apparently, not much. I gave Lucky a try (young, black spinner, super good dancing skills. Like REAL dancing though. LOL) since I've talked to her before, and she seemed to be eyeing me a little. She seemed interested in extras during the dance, so I loosened up the pants and had junior peaking out. She said she couldn't do anything because she'd be getting teased. Clever line, but completely unbelievable. A little LFK which was nice, and she did do a little stick shifting with some spit lube, but nothing special that would get me off. Left unhappy. *sad face.

Priya was a fixture at the old Hawaii during the last 2-3 years and was well known as a rip off artist then. The thing is, like so many others who took customers to the cleaners, Priya would victimize those she could get over on. She also had many regulars who got reasonably decent service from her at the going rate. Very simply they were the guys who knew how to avoid the traps that the clubs and the girls set and the girls can use the honest payday when they can't get their hands on the spoils of a ROBbery!

Over many years I can only think of one dancer who never backed off her crazy over the top price menu. Basically take it or leave it. That is Alyssa who was at Hawaii at the end and moved on to SRI. She didn't ROB anybody though. Just sets a crazy price upfront and has plenty of willing customers apparently to this day. Yeah she's a hot babe and pretty cool to hang with too which was the limit of my involvement with her.

Here I go again. You think Jerikson was being serious about sharing posts with an LE buddy? I know its tough to measure sarcastic and facetious comments on the internet, but his post is clearly spoofing the culture on this site of tossing out clues to identify providers and locations instead of just outright identifying them under some deluded idea that the readers here can figure out the clues but LE can't. It is a very frustrating feature of this site but also pretty hilarious that so many in the membership actually seem to believe this. And for the record, IMO it is cool to identify your subject or not to identify it (or her) at all. The codes and puzzles created by posters who want to go half way make no sense at all.

Re Ben Davis's question: Yeah Ben, Harmony is pregnant and she was "showing" pretty well the last time I saw her which was a couple of weeks ago. Though she didn't bring it up and neither did I. She also backed off on her customary level of service when I took her for a dance set. Can't really hold it against her though if she wants to play it as safe as possible with Harmony Jr. In the oven.
