Was a bit restless this evening, so I decided to take in the sights at Honey's.

Had some family business up in Sea-Town, so I rolled into my old homestead to see if a rooster could still get his rise on. With what I'the read here and in the mainstream press, I was worried you might be getting the air grind there these days, but lets get real. Either the horror stories are overblown, or I must have got really lucky really fast. Or most likely both.

It was about 6ish, and I do believe that you will get more grabbing, nibbling, and sharing, if you make it in these places a little early. Of course in many clubs, that brings your quality down, but that's where Rick's has always shone. The dayshift girls are usually quite hot, and they looked to be this day too. For all the fame of strip clubs in P-town, I'll take fewer clubs with more variety Seattle style over a club on every corner, but less girls and way less contact. Yes, it was good to be back in the homestead.

I'll be honest guys, I don't remember the name of the babe who glommed onto me and wouldn't let go. She had me mesmerized with her pretty face, tall figure, and non-anorexic/non-BBW curves. And she could talk too. An artist who made giant installations on Vashon Island, and commuted by ferry to hustle in this palace of sin. We confided our ages, and she was remarkably 36 years old. Then I remembered this fact- you couldn't even get a drink where the girls dance. WTF? That did it. I headed back to the shack. Those are juice bar restictions and I'm way older than that.

Dang! I can't wait to get back to Portland! If there is some mileage in the Seattle clubs, it better be damn good, and cheap, to offset the inconveniences.

Years ago, SEA clbs were good. Remember the Bear Cave? WTH happened? I was born and raised in Washington, and was once proud to take my buddies out for a night on the town.

One thing WA does have is the massage parlors. Thank God for that. I like 'em a lot, but that does not make up for the WA "juice bar" experience.

Want real strip clubs? Head south.I dare say, that with extensive strip club experience in more thn half the states in this fine country, Portland is at the top, based on overall experience.

But in my experience, there is NO sucking whatsoever (or extra mileage) in Oregon clubs. Now I could be wrong as I have only been to a handful (6-10) in the greater PDX area where I sometimes work, so please tell me, Red Dog, where I might go to get at least a handshake. Thanks!

Well, I arrived in Sea-town yesterday for a week of meetings and decided to check out Rick's. $10 cover and $5 drink, and I barely sit when girl after girl asks if I want a private dance. Finally take Ruby/Carrington up on it and walk to the VIP area where the sign says $20 dances. Sit down and she whips out the little guy and tells me her dances are $50. Damn. 4 dances later I tell her I'm out of dough and get up. She gives me a slip of paper and says "Call me". Outside the club I look at the paper and it's her number. Anybody have any experience with her. I'm tempted to call.

I am with Dbldowndon on this one. I spent a few days in SEA and almost all of my time at SCs. I had a great time. To me it sounds like a better way of rephrasing your conclusion is, 'WA does not have what I am looking for". I can buy that.

I will post a detailed review of my experience soon, and thank you for the positive endorsement of SCs in Portland. Can't wait to check out.

Sometimes a dancer will go off on you for little or no reason. Usually it means they're having a bad day, hung over, strung out, rent is due, ran into many aholes before you, are not suited for that sort of work in the first place, or any combination of the preceding.

It's happened to me more than once; it sucks but don't take it personally.

Also, guys, be polite but never, ever hesitate or feel bad about saying no if a dancer isn't your type, or the first dance tells you the experience is going to be lame. Or anything less than you expect. It's your hard earned money, not a charity ball to raise cash for her next tattoo. Each dancer has her own set of rules and her own idea of what constitutes an "erotic experience"--for example, relieving the aching pressure in your wallet! The money is probably going to support some bling-adorned, unemployed dick, so you might as well have a good time in the process.

I've been having a bit of luck asking dancers "ever do... private dances?" Very matter of fact like. It certainly never hurts to ask. In the worst case they don't, or claim they don't and that too is useful info. I even got digits at typically no-mileage Sugar's.

Let this be a lesson to you guys (and a reminder to me). Sugar's is an okay place to spend some time, have fun, and get teased, but if you seriously need your pipes drained, find another venue. Personally I like Sugar's but have not been there in a while because it's not worth the drive and the money anymore. Honey's is a lot more dependable; I've had some "surreal" but enjoyable experiences there. Same goes for Rick's.

Lately I've been into the AMP scene because the SC experience is so hit-or-miss and you never know how much you need to spend. Good idea Peepers, going in with a budget. My policy is not to use the ATM in the clubs unless I have, uh, inadvertently gone over the limit.
