Went trolling along e. wash & e.10th this afternoon about 3. Stopped at the speedway at wash & emerson and ran into an ebony gal I thought I knew from a couple summers ago. I just got back from my first trip to Pattaya. I arrived in Bangkok at 1am the first day and stayed at the Nana Hotel, it was fine. The real treat was the emptying of the "entertainmarnt plaza" around 2am. A wide variety of people wandered out as I was standing on the street watching the circus!

The next morning I walked down to the Skytrain to get a ride to the bus station. I had NO IDEA where I was going and asked directions from a girl walking the same direction. She said "Follow me, I'm walking right past the station". She helped me get the train ticket, and recognizing I was an idiot, offered to go with me to the bus station to show me how things worked. At the bus station she told me that she had a friend who lived in Pattaya and was familiar with the town. She made this offer: for 1,000 baht she would accompany me to Pattaya, teach me the "ropes" of Thai travel, make sure I got in my hotel okay, show me around town, then she would return the next morning after I was sufficiently "in place". I ended up keeping her for the entire vacation. She was a lot of fun and would accompany me to the go-go bars or whereever else I wanted to go (like a trip to the Kwai River bridge near Burma). So although I did not get to sample a mixture of the local talent I was kept VERY happy during my experience. If I go back, and I probably will, I have a really good basic understanding of the town and how to get around. So, even though my vacation was completely different from what I expected, it was a great success!

Hi all,

Went to see what I could find on the east side Sunday about 3pm. If there's not one by the church, there's usually one on the parking lot where the pawn shop is at, and one parked on the side of the shrimp/fish hut.

Checked out the east side stroll Thursday afternoon about 3. Even tho it was nice out I didn't expect to see much and didn't. However there was one gal on 10th that got my attention. Sounds like common sense to me. ;-)

When responding to a post, I try to do like BeowulfSmith did, and just quote the salient part of the post.

It seems to me that if your response to a Post if quite close to original, then, no, quoting it (especially all of it) is unneeded. However, the further from the original Post your response is, the more necessary at least a partial quote is. If you read a response that is totally disconnected to what it is related to, then digging back a page or 2 can be frustrating.

A short quote, salient to the point you are making is generally plenty of quoting.

Yeah, I have noticed LE presence at the gas station and in the church, also at the liquor across the street. But not lately and from what I have seen, there’s a lot of car traffic looking to pick these sw at this location.

Next to the gas station, there a couple of businesses and plenty of parking. I parked across the pawn shop for half an hour to see the action. There were a lot of cars parking and just circling the gas station. As soon as one girl was dropped off, she would get picked up by someone. I saw this at least 4 times while I was there. I have seen about 3 different wsw and 4 bsw and a bunch of guys dealing, but no LE. Which is weird because LE is not shy about parking and showing off themselves in the corner of the liquor store and gas station.

Your point is well taken, when ever my Balmer/DC monger friends or I post with the quote function, we cut out unnecessary, portions to reduce repetitive reading, allow more posts per screen page and save precious band with for Jackson, since he charges us nothing for this incredible site. You are not trying to control anything by being creative, caring enough to improve the USASG board and offering suggestions to help all. What a disappointment and waste of time. I spent 15 minutes on the phone with her chatting, getting acquainted and giving her detail directions. Here's a quick picture of one of the wsw working at Post Rd and 42nd. I did not pick this girl up, a white car got to her before me but I was able to get a pic.
