I hate to Agree with your statments which are 100 correct, I can't. All of LA as well as California is pretty much democrat, where are we when we are left with democrats who champion right wing causes... wtf is the world coming to? What happen to Civil liberty's and to personal choice, Welll I for one am glad we can sleep safe knowing no one is getting blow jobs or lap dances anymore because if those things happen society will never be the same. LE isn't the problem... Many of them would rather do something else with their time. However, they are mandated to "clean up" prostitution because the effects are visible and risk is minimal.

Add to this the fact that most arrestees pay the fine and go on their way, THE CITY MAKES MONEY!

What would happen if all arrestees FOUGHT the charges? It would COST cities money..

Assest siezure forfieture, paid CI's, wire taps (think Bush saving us from the enemy), the systematic stripping of our 4th amendment rights since atleast the early Rehnquist court, all give LE the incentive to bust more and more "non-violent offenders" at their discretion...

Remember report all Potholes within City of LA Limits to 311, They have 24 hours to make a temporary repair, if it is not done, and someone hit's that pothole a Claim can be filed with the city attorneys office, for Damaged rims, Alignment Etc. they will research it, see it was reported, and have no chice but to pay the claim. It's The Law. Oh and Don't forget to Ask for your street to get repaved as well, If you don't chances are good it will umm never get done.
