Checking in after some time.
I have been absent from this board and the AMP scene in general.
I was dismayed by the eradication of the AMP circles in DC. Each closing and each girl's arrest gave me great depression.
The behavior of unprofessional AMP customers also left me a little concerned.
It is now 2012 and the AMP scene is hotter than ever, and not in a good way.
The sex police and feminist groups are in full swing and they will not rest until all AMPs nationwide are closed.
And why not? They are so easy to find, enter and decoy. They are the canary in the coal mine, a zero effort attack can
Lead to huge claims that they are working to end Human Trafficking.
The solution? Fellas step your game up. The situation has changed and many of you are still behind the times.
The new system is one based on reputation, screening, verification, and technology.
The organizations have changed, but the girls stay the same.
Screening systems keep girls safe from LE, bad customers and general ass holes.
Join an online screening service, there are several to choose from.
The AMP game has an expiration date on it, start your transition (you won't be sorry)!
I was there with you in DC back in the day. Knew Paula on 9th Street, too. There were any number of sweeps during those years. Gentrification in shady neighborhoods led to some closings. But when some places got too popular on the boards, when there were constant posts and the traffic at those places went up, there were problems.
We have to realize for every guy posting, in good faith, there are dozens upon dozens who just read and react. Many of these guys are assholes, drunks, frat boys and other fools who flock to the popular places and act like idiots. We do the research, we act cool at the spots, but others don't. Someone broke a bottle on the door and apparently puked on the sidewalk of my new favorite place in Columbia. Guys urinate in stairwells, abuse providers, and stiff on paying them. These are not senior members doing this, they are guys who steal info from the board and are parasites. These are also the guys who irritate neighbors and ultimately bring legal scrutiny to the places we love. I have seen it happen many times in twenty-five years of hobbying.
That is why we should PM details. A recent post of mine got many, many PMs from guys with zero posts. I won't reply to those, and I don't think anyone here should reply to those.
Let's keep the good information to ourselves and others like us who know how to act and who contribute. I will PM details to any good senior member, and have never had a problem with a senior member reciprocating.
