Law requiring rpoerting of STIs and STDs
That's like saying the cops don't have the money to go around writing tickets. Public health is the whole reason the health dept exists. Yes they really will make contact with everyone you tell them about. It's fortunate that they didn't do these things back when it happened to you, but they do it now. It's now the law in all 50 states.
There is no law requiring the reporting of incidence of ST! S and STDs. If there is, I'd appreciate a weblink reference to the law. The health guidance requires physicians to report incidence of STIs and STDs to the State Health Department and CDC who use the information for public health tracking. They are not required to report PII. Do let this fear stop anyone from getting tested and treated for STIs or STDs. It is a risk we all take if we choose to go raw but get tested and treated if you get one.
