I was just thinking why don't most providers (or any providers) use something like Signal for secure communication. Clearly there is a gray area to the legality of some of this, at least in most jurisdictions. Why wouldn't they use Signal, with disappearing messages?? It just seems like would be smart.
Or even an app like Session that doesn't even use your phone #. If anyone wants to try that one, my "Session ID" is 05c3eff3676395aed6399485f4b3c7776293a996aea3d552e26613e20357a1db38 if you want to try it out.
But SMS is about the worst thing to use, although I know many of them are careful what is discussed. But they will discuss $$$ and then say "Bring a condom".
Well I guess it's no big surprise that many of these girls are not super bright, or tech savvy. Instead of working in STEM, they are just laying on their back and spreading, for a living. But still. Why not a little effort to be safer.
And the other factor I suppose is most men don't want to bother with such apps, and they are just as careless and will use their regular phone and SMS, when their wife / gf could find it or a see a later reply or whatever.
Ok, I didn't want to clog up one of the more active threads with these musings, but just had to share.
