Apple. Cute girl with the worst booker ever
Not posting a link here, as she's well known and recently was discussed, check posts 15528 to 15531 for example. Just want to share the singularly frustrating experience I've had trying to see her. First, I booked an appointment ahead of time for a Tuesday morning, after she texted to let me know she would be working at that time. When I contacted her Monday evening to reconfirm (as providers typically would expect clients to do) . . . Radio silence. After two tries, I told her I was postponing since I could not confirm. (She is too far for me to just drive there hoping she'll remember the appointment, and I have had another provider get mixed up and forget an advance booking). The next afternoon she finally gets in touch to say it was her time of the month.
I tried again, made a new appointment a week or two later and actually met her. But, due to her booker's failure to answer a simple but important question about my desired service request (or at least forward the question to Apple), I ended up having substantially less money than needed. Rather than settle, and seeing how busy she was that day with other clients in any event, I elected to work out the details with her on the spot and reschedule for a week out.
The third try, however, went similarly to the first; she confirmed my appointment initially but then would not reconfirm on the eve of the appointment, only responding with a cryptic "I'm out of town, no phone reception. " Luckily Sophie was able to salvage the day for me (see prior report).
Having seen Apple, she's a great girl and provides exactly the type of session I'm looking for. But no provider is worth this much hassle. I hope others have had it easier. Unfortunately she would not share her personal number with a newbie, so she said. I come across as a pleasant guy in person (as far as I can tell), but that had not made things easier in this case.
Reduced staffing and appointments
Garden is open in Burke. I throughly enjoyed a session with Amy recently. I hadn't seen her for awhile and we did some catching up. Top notch massage with above average NOVA. She is skilled at edging. FYI, no table shower here.
Garden and other local AMPs are open, but.
I've visited 3 since Friday. At each place, only MMS was working (or only one lady).
At two I visited, they were only open for appointments and only with clients they already knew.
YMMV.
Always be nice to the ladies.

Back in the game. Good & Bad

One was good and other was a waste of time and $.
The Bad:
Went to a Chinese place in FAIRFAX that was just opening for business. Called ahead and since I was known, got the word to come right over. Place is typical Chinese with no TS which was ok because I really needed a massage too. Manager opens door with mask and made sure I had mask. She seemed pretty scared about the whole virus thing and asked if I went out of house at all. Me: Not much. Very pleasant but obviously freaking out. Told to keep mask on and get ready on the table. She came back in with mask and rubber gloves and attempted to give a massage. Was ok but on flip I noticed the rubber gloves and my charlie just was not into being work over by rubber gloves. He died on the spot. Nothing happened. Total washout, no mood, she tried but really was freaked out. Still gave decent tip. I said here, you probably need this more than I do. Guess felt sorry for her. Tough business during a pandemic!
The Good:
Visited Best / Chantilly after a call. Again they knew me and said they are only seeing old customers and very spaced out. One girl at 10,12, 2, & 4. Another girl at 11,1, 3 & 5 . Only 8 special clients a day to give them time for spacing and cleaning between clients. Since they are a Korean place, typically there is a TS first and then they know you are clean and I guess safe. I got the perspective that I would get the VIP treatment and I left feeling great and feeling like a king. They were just nice and pleasant. I felt like a VIP and I tipped pretty high. They are not a FS place and I did not mean to imply by VIP as such. I just felt Very Important and happy.
So one good and one bad. I think places are trying to figure out what works for them and safety of all. The good thing was neither ignored the dangers of the Virus, but were trying to figure out how to be safe. Best figured it out and maybe AMPs with table showers are the way to go for now. A good TS does break the ice!
Be and play safe.
