As for determining fake ads, it just takes experience to pick them out. After a while of reading and replying to them, you can figure out which ones are real and fake just from reading the post. The easiest way I determine is if the post is vague on where they are, these is usually fake. If the post uses "mahalo" or "aloha" or a specific local location which only locals would use, normally the are real. There are some exceptions like "UH" and "Manoa" which have been popping up as fakes.

Question for you guys who have responed to CL ads that you think are legit. Do you guys send face, full lenght or etc. Pics when the ad ask so you will get a response. Or just responses with a description of your self in response to the ad. I am just cautious about sending a pic. I have replied to a few with no pic and I got no answer.
