They are watching![/QUOTE]No doubt these cameras can be intimidating and maybe/hopefully a deterrent to real crime but based on what we've seen in other cities like Baltimore that have a ton of them, chances are they will rarely be used to make prostitution busts. I recall seeing a story listing the number and type of arrests attributed to the cameras and (maybe I'm mistaken but) I think the number of prostitution-related arrests was 0.
That particular LV intersection does seem like a good place to start. A few months ago while in LV I remember seeing a story in the Review Journal that identified Fremont and 15th as the highest crime intersection in all of LV if you judge by the number of arrests made. Number 2 as I recall was an intersection (Tam and something) in Naked City, not far from the Strat.
I wouldn't say we should relax upon hearing this news but I'm guessing it's more likely to have an effect on the supply side of things, meaning there might be less open drug dealing and fewer SWs out. I wouldn't necessarily expect an increase in monger arrests.

I remember way back when, there was a little bar on Odgen - I think it was around 7th. It used to be a "take a shot" type sh!thole that later turned into a lesbian bar. I'm looking at my mapping software and see a bar there that's now called the "Tongue and Groove". Should I assume that it's still a lesbian bar?

Anybody interests in starting a thread about legal brothels within 1 hour drive from LV? When mongering in LV, it may be interesting if they have buses going to the brothels and if the prices are listed. A lot of times, when you get there, you may find 1k does not stretch very far. Giving so many people interesting in a few stars for mongering, it will be a profitable package deal for the legal brothels.

Heard that in the wake of the Doll house raids trusted customers have been getting phone calls in the last week or so. Also that the houses are still open but mostly doing out call to hotels.
I also heard from a somewhat reliable source that there is a new underground 'party' in town. Guys are approached in lines at the hot spots and offered an opportunity to hang out with very willing young women for a small fee ($100).
Once they got to the place it was like an abandoned warehouse with private "rooms" around the edges. Inside was a full bar and about twenty to thirty beautiful girls milling around. Drinks were reasonable and the girls were very friendly.
For another $100-$200 depending on the girl they were led to the private room and got very good full service.
I would like to think that this was true, but I want to see what the rest of you think or have heard.

Since this is Vegas that 1-2 hundred probably only gets you 15 min of full service. Here in Detroit I went to a party like this invite only 50 to get in 150 for 15 min F/S the ladies were hot though.

Same thing in Los Angeles. But things were very exclusive, very upscale, very quiet, and very much you need to know someone to get invited.
Due to the amount of cash flowing through Vegas, I HIGHLY doubt a similiar arrangement exists. There is simply no financial motivation for anyone to put together this sort of thing.
Are there any motels left in town that charge hourly rates? I know they shut down the Del Mar awhile back.

I had a friend of mine email me about Vegas and this was my email back to him. I think that it has some good info. So I copied it here.
I just got back, and I do have a couple of contacts. One was 300.00

At that point I was pondering if she was doable and if I should try to proposition her but noticed things she covered up with makeup on her face and she was giving me the druggie vibe, so I passed. After I am done with walking around the rocker’s casino with nothing much to see, I went back to the car and proceed north. After I passed that tall skinny tower, I passed a bsw sitting in a bus stop and one walking further down. They didn’t really peak my interest so I moved on. Head east to get on to boulder and maybe it was my darn luck but it was quiet. Got all the way down to the starbucks and finally saw one. Unfortunately, upon closer examination, I really had to pass. I went into the lion hotel, did a quick loop and started to go towards the one buck slots since I read somewhere that that would be the better spot. As I got to the last row (last row from the main lobby), I see a pretty blond in a blue dress sitting by herself. As I approach, she smiled at me and I tried to smile back. I must be too nervous with so many cams above me that my smile most likely did not come out correctly. Needless to say, I wasn’t sure if she was supposed to follow me or something. By the time I made it back for a second pass, and I was taking my time so I won’t look too obvious, she moved to the bar where it was impossible to get through the other customers of the bar. So I moved on towards the big apple hotel. I was on the skyway and thought I’d stop for a smoke. As I looked north down the strip, I saw a blond walking towards the skyway. She headed up the skyway and came right at me. She asked why I am out there all by myself. Told her I was getting some air. She asked if I wanted company and I asked what she had in mind. She blatantly said $$$ for fs. At that moment, I was thinking crap, I’d have no probs giving $$$ to the blond in blue earlier but not this girl, besides, she most likely will not come back to the west side with me since its so damn far. So I told her I had a bad night at the lion hotel and cannot afford her. She left towards big apple and I towards lion’s. And this concludes my CG recon and finally to the amps.
Headed back west and went straight for H.Y. for it was most talked about lately. Got there, wondered for a minute if I should use the coupon and headed in. A middle aged asian lady came out, looked like the door chime woke her and asked what I was looking for? I said massage, she asked how long? One hour I said and she suggest half. I was thinking I really must have woke her from her nap and I will most likely get a below par massage and forget about extras. I asked her if I had a choice in who will be massaging me, she said no, it will be her. Then I thanked her and left. I headed back to the mountain with a spring road and noticed there were a lot of places. But I needed to rethink my game plan since the sun is about to rise and I am hella beat, however, I really wanted to play with someone decent looking. So I went to about 5 shops. Each one I went to, the worst they looked and my fear of getting beat up was also getting worst. Finally, I stopped at a place on the east bound side of the road. I went in there thinking this is my ultimate last stop, I really need to sleep. The keeper were an older guy. He asked what I was looking for, I repeated the same thing as I have with the last 5 places. So my final question again was if I get to choose which girl. He said its too late and every gal is either assisting other customers at this time or sleeping. I thanked him and started to turn around when he said he will call a good one over from another branch. I was like huh? He was like give him 5 mins and if I don’t like her, then we will call it a night. I was thinking crap, I am so getting beat up if I call it a night. So I stayed and waited. I chatted a bit with the dude when Jojo arrived. She wasn’t bad so I thought ok, with all the driving and walking that I have brought upon myself, I should at least treat myself to a massage. So I proceeded, skipped the shower cause I am so tired I really don’t care and she did not seemed to mind, or she did not notice, again who cares. So she took my towel and I laid face down and she started the session. Surprisingly, it was a really good massage, got my joints cracking even at places where I didn’t even know could crack. On the latter part of the flip over, she asked if I wanted the little guy massaged as well, it was rather shocking to her when I said no and asked her to give my back and shoulder another run. But was too tired to stay any longer. So I said good bye to spinner and let Jojo escort me out. I went out the door and thought I should get a biz card so I know how to get back. I went back in and Jojo was actually rushing to leave. At the same time, spinner came out and started to talk to me again. I can see that Jojo wasn’t too happy to have a customer possibly stolen from her but she needed to go. So did I actually but I chatted with spinner a while turning it to a flirt and I told her I will come back to see her. As I was driving back to my hotel, I was like crap, I didn’t get spinner’s name …
The whole night cost me $70.00 including tips plus gas but truly, the massage was priceless.
