The Chinese are becoming better cooks
Ok, I know, geographically, this is not the "correct" spot, but since I post here the most and several people have given me some good info-then I thought I would share with you.
Last week, I had to head east in the state (Wilkes Barre) for some business. I had free time and while driving around, I noticed a few spas and 'spa type' places. I called them to ask if Korean or Chinese or what and they were all Chinese (from the ones I saw).
They advertise the same as the Chinese places around here (Warren / Pittsburgh). Most said "massage only OK?" One place said "We massage and we do some like Elite spa (a Korean place down the road)".
So I went in and tried (I had worked in this area about 6 yrs ago and there was nothing around except a few lame "white girl places". There were some great AMPs in the Poconos but they are gone now).
It was $55 for massage and personal, as in DIY, shower, and sauna. The girls are very good looking and are obviously trained in good massage like the Chinese places are. It was about a 35m. Then hot stones on spine with a foot massage for about 10m. Turn over was mechanical chest shoulder and leg massage with predictable results.
You keep a towel draped, but at about 15 before the hour (or so) she plays with the drape and-after she ensures you do not object, removes and begins manipulation.
Manipulation complete with nothing else.
Still though, quite unexpected but I doubt they are "just like Elite" down the road.
She stays "dressed"-a white pullover type thin dress-almost like a surg. Gown- but she allows you to feel under-she has nothing else. All the girls are dressed this way and are all very good looking-low to mid 20's.
Again, not like we are "used to" but still- I think-much more then we expect from these places.
I think they know they are missing out on the $ and are upping their service. All total-$55 (I took in a coupon from a local "about town" paper also).
I do not want to say exactly who they are but in this link they are about 80% of the way down the list with a 'predictable name' http://www.wilkesbarrescrantonnightout.com/entertainment/adult%20entertainment.
Hopefully, these Chinese adventures will make a move to the west soon.
Lazy Kim and the Feline Foundation
Ok, whoever gives Susi Kims a good rating either is making it up or has very, very, very low standards. Went in at about 2pm, greeted by a woman in her 60's and brought to the room behind shower area. Place is very dirty, while I was sitting there waiting, saw a spider web in a corner near the ceiling, with a spider in it. Now I don't care about spiders per se, but since this is a Korean place, it is very uncharacteristically dirty of Koreans to not be cleaning. The other corners and ceiling has dust webs. When "girl" came in she was probably trying to play off a 40yr old but I can tell you from all my time with Koreans in all manners of business and interaction here and in Korea, this woman is pushing 60 herself. Said her name was Han-ah. Look, she was nice and polite, but if I wanted to spend time with a 50 something I would go to a bar. I asked for half my door money back and left.
I have seen ops like this elsewhere and they are usually free lance ops where cooks who should be pursuing other career goals come in and out and work at will paying a lease to Ajima. What I saw (dust, smell) is indicative of no ownership and no care in workplace and therefore no concern for the continued business. Also, if one pays attention, in these ops, every cook has their own wallet as well.
At the Feline Foundation, things were way better. Got there at almost 3, no cars. Parked in lot (not having a front plate I backed up to fence with one side of car to the creek in back). Greeted by Ajima and then introduced to Jin Hee. Very nice and polite, probably around 42 (you must remember Korean women look younger then their age in almost every occasion). Spoke Korean with her-that helps a lot. She was instantly off-guard and relaxed. Koreans get pretty excited when a 'round eye' can speak their lingo. I find it handy because I can tell what they are saying about me.
Nice ts, she was very considerate and careful making sure I didn't fall or slip as she saw my surgical scar on my hip. Made conversation about what happened and how I learned Korean. Then nice sauna, very clean-they are usually smelly.
In room, very nice massage, very good with the upper back and legs, again being very careful not to hurt my hip. More small talk in and out of Korean / English. She very slow and methodical, again, a very good massage over all.
In for about an hour and fifteen; .5 door / 1. 2.
Spoke with Ajima after about where I could get some Korean food and groceries. Also, she asked me why there were 2 other guys in parking lot just staring at the building. I told her didn't look like anyone dangerous, maybe they just were waiting for me to leave. In and out of Korean (I understand a lot more then I speak) she told me that the "troubles" are over. Says she was told "definitely over by important man". She says she knows it was a show for political reasons and expects more places to be opened up soon (saw someone doing work at fantacy bldg, no idea what is up there) and that she is getting more confectionery soon.
If anyone wants more info pm me.
Anyone else here ever serve in Korea in Army or Air Force?
Just wondering if anybody on her was ever in Korea while in the Army / Air Force? If so, what were your favorite 'mongering' sites? Itaewon or the local ville? Hopefully someone here knows what I am talking about.
