Just wondering if someone could advise me on how traffic should be on Saturday 11 am-1 pm or share a decent route around Atlanta. I'll be heading south to Florida. The last time I hit Atlanta at afternoon rush hour and it sucked. Thanks for any help.

If you're traveling on I 75 then just go straight through downtown. If you're using I 85 to get to 75 take the 285 bypass to I 675 the connect with 75 south of the airport.

If you're coming out of North Carolina and have the transponder for the Express Lane, I-75 offers a couple of speedy detours when open. It's called Peach Pass in GA, or the express lane. You'll get a ticket by mail if you're in the lane without a transponder.

Weekends are hit or miss, but this is usually the worst traffic merge in the area.
