I had a dancer tell me she was an independent contractor and could charge what she wanted for dances because she had a different quality of dances, LMAO I told her I'm going to pass and come back if you want to negotiate lmao.
I'm not much into the strip club scene, but was wondering about the above.

I seem to recall they took away their liquor license. Basically the city wanted it shut down. Pink Pony still thrives but they are pretty stritct on rules.

Their lack of success is pretty likely due to the economy, but there are also a lot of other factors. Just from traveling around it seems like strip clubs aren't as popular nowadays. I went to 2 clubs in Manhattan last year and they were pretty dead. It seems guys either go to the higher end clubs that also are night clubs or some niche spot like V or Blaze where they have the staff offers extra additional services. Maybe Atlanta has enough clubs given current demand. The re-opened Platinum seems to be doing OK though.
A portion of the girls have entered the "massage" game, UTRs with guys from the strip club and out, and there more low key spots that offer dancers at night or early mornings.

If you want some top shelf kitty DR Night and Oxygen resort are the best. You don't pay the girls the resorts do. Except to spend 900 to 2500 per night depending on how many girls you want for your stay. The ladies you choose stay with you 24 hours a day.

Did my Saturday late afternoon Strip Club visit into the city and things really seem to be changing. Stopped at Strokers around 4:15. Decent number of customers, maybe 25. Very few dancers and didn't see anyone on stage until right before departure. Saw one slender lady in the 8 range but she was into the dressing room and out the door by 4:30. Not much remained. A few fat ladies, some 5's, and ladies huddled up at tables that did not appear to be dancing. That was the theme, not much dancing taking place. Had one somewhat slender lady come out for mid shift around this time so I picked the tallest mdiget in the room and danced her about a dozen songs to kill time. Said her name was Niki, and she had danced at other spots previously. Alana then came out, waved and settled into a table. That left Zero so out the door I went.
Arrived at Platinum around 5:30. Plenty of open spaces so I parked. The valet came and said I had to back in. Ok, accompliished. 10 to park and no cover. About 5-6 employees out front and 2-3 more upon entry. Maybe 8 dancers and 1 customer. Yes, I was the only customer for about 30 minutes before 2 couples got a table. Had a dancer in my face within 5 seconds. Think her name was Haitian although that was not her nationalitiy. Tall, somewhat slender, except for an enormous BBL. Not my thing but she was pleasant. Give her a 7. Looking for a spinner type but none to be found. Against my better judgement, I selected a Cuban that was slim thick with another big butt. Said her name was Nona. Not much English so I used some of each while communicating. Have to say that I didn't really stare but she had a beautiful face. Like 9. Body and tats are a matter of taste but she danced pretty well for about 6 dances. Somewhere around a 7-8 and she was pleasant unlike most of the Cubans I encounter. Then came Kouri. Real aggressive. Very articulate. Guess I haven't mentioned it, but all dancers are black unless otherwise stated. I'm reviewing black or black-Latin spots. 5'2" and maybe 130 lbs. OK body and face. Strong dancer. Give her a weak 7. As in many of my infreqent recent visits of late, I get a lot of OTC and Sugar Baby type inquiries. More of the same here. I departed after 6 dances and I think there were 5-6 total customers in the club and maybe 10 dancers. The women were not bad looking, 6-8 in general. While dancing Kouri a huge bouncer came over and told her that I could not leave my hands parked on her breasts. Touching was OK, but it was too much. She translated to mostly ignore and I could to touch as much as I liked. Said it was to upsell the VIP booths. In conclusion, things seem slow and the remaining women are hungry based on this short visit. As always, YMMV.

When I went 3 years ago they were 40 dollars flat rate. I did a 3 fer.

Before they blew up the Plaza there were about 3 or 4 Latin clubs on Moreland and Custer ave.
