You pays your fee and you takes your chances. I usually go for the 30 minutes -- the best providers always spend 45+ minutes with TS, rub and a tug. I find the sessions generally don't last any longer if I pay for the hour. That's been my experience. Individual mileage may vary.

I don't see why so many guys like to roll the dice with their money like this when you could just get a "sure thing" with a regular provider....you don't get the massage, but you get BBBJ and FS, etc...and you know how much it is going to cost beforehand.

If you go to a well reviewed parlor just like seeing a well reviewed provider.
The table shower is a great experience and I believe the AMP girls are much cleaner and safer than any CL ho you can get for the same price. If you know how to play the game and don't let the little head do your thinking the service is the best value for the money.
I myself prefer ethnic providers, ie ebony, latin, asian ect. I would touch any of the black girls on CL, so if I'm in the mood for that then I go with the 200-250 escorts. If not then the AMP and BMP places are great.
By the way BBBJ is getting to be not the normal for the reviews I read on the CL girls. 99% of them are on a table in a different room, and then you go back to your room for the massage and extras. The other 1% I just don't bother with. Nothing like having a cute little asian rubbing her soapy hands over every inch of your body.

Yeah it is sad that CBJ seems to be getting more standard, but thank goodness many providers still do BBBJ. I am not even a big BJ fan, but for some reason I insist on that, at least for a few seconds. It's just a matter of principle, however perhaps misguided. I personally like the atmosphere. Walking into a place where sex is on sale is thrilling even if you aren't there for the sex.
Just like other aspects of this hobby, it's not always a cut-and-dry matter of how much sex you get for what you pay. Why spend hundreds of dollars to gawk at naked women in a strip club without fucking, when you can take that same amount and get a guaranteed thing on CL or Eros?
We like variety.
If you pay $40 for a half hour session, it doesn't matter how much or what extras you pay for (HJ, BJ or FS), you're in and out the door in 30 minutes unless the place is slow that day and/or the girl really likes you. You might get a little extra time, but certainly not much and normally the mamasan will be knocking on the door at 30 minutes sharp.

That's very good to know. Not that the $20 difference is a big deal, but if one expects an hour it can be disappointing to get pushed out the door in 30 min.

Usually if a provider says she'll only do a half hour session it means:
a) She's got an appointment scheduled right after you, or
b) She figures she can make more money doing half hour sessions vice hour sessions.
If I have time, I'd rather do an hour session so I can hopefully get a decent TS and massage out of it because it's better value for the money. Next time you get refused an hour session, you might want to ask the mamasan why or request another provider who will give you what you want.
I always go AMPing with a backup plan since so many Korean AMP providers have bad attitudes, are too mechanical, non-GFE, etc. I might hit 5-6 AMPs until I find someone that I want. Time consuming? Yes, but why settle for less than what you want?

According to AJC web site, Clayton County sheriff Victor Hill -- the guy who shuttered all the AMPs about 18 months ago -- lost (!) in the runoff. Looked like he was going to squeak through, but the last precincts pushed him out.
Be curious to see whether the AMPs try to sneak back in after November, and whether the next sheriff views shutting AMPs as more important than fighting real crime. Stay tuned, folks.
Twice in the last year, I have had girls tell me not to waste money on the hour. They both said if I wanted something extra to just pay for the half. Its never made any difference in the time I spent.
Once at Ocean I happened to be Pink's last customer of the day. She spent an hour and a half with me. Just got lucky I guess.
One thing I will say about AMP's. I love to just get pampered. No where else have I gone where the girl's mission is to take special care of me.

So, it creates a delicate balancing act of who actually works for whom.
I went to Royal after work on Monday. They seemed pretty busy. I had never been there, but said that I had several months ago. I told the Mamasan that a friend had recommended Gina. Mamasan informed me that Gina was busy. Since I did not want to wait, I accepted Rose, who seems neither young nor old, and cute but not spectacular. I've been to a million AMPs over the years and have tried it both ways. It is definitely a YMMV situation. When the girl really likes you, it's not too busy, and the mamasan is laid back, you can stay for a full hour even if you pay for a half. At other times paying for a half means you will be rushed through. It almost always means a very rushed table shower. I generally just pay for an hour because I like a good table shower and like to take it slow and enjoy. I have never been rushed out before the hour is up when I've paid for the full hour. If I finish early, the girl will usually fill in with a little extra massage or something.
Of course, I only go to well-reviewed places, am polite to the mamasan, and am always super nice to the girls. It's important to do all of these things. There's a certain AMP-Karma. If you are decent and compensate fairly, you will generally have a much better experience. That's especially true for repeat visits.
About the tip question... Yes, the girls have to give back part of the tip to the house. One of the girls told me once that she had to give back half. I was really surprised. If you spent $200 at an AMP, the therapist is probably only getting $70 of that and the house is keeping $130. That's part of the reason I never try to low-ball. My experience has been that most places are going to get $$ out of you between the hourly fee and the tip, so I just go in with that in mind. The two exceptions are Gold, which wants a lot more, and Ocean, which will take a little less. I generally don't do hard negotiations. I don't visit these places so often so I'd rather not risk a bad attitude just to hang on to a 20. That's just me.

It seems the price was half of today's going rate. I guess that's adjustment for inflation.
I've also had it where I paid for an hour and I got 1.5-2.0 hours; at that place, would not have gotten bonus time with the half, I don't think. There's pros and cons to both depending what you want, and how well you get in good with the gang.

Paid .6 for 40 minutes and a 40-ish Korean gave me a thorough TS, then back to the room for a pretty good massage. I got more than 40 minutes and when she said she was finished, I begged and pleaded for a HJ. After much hesitation and guiding her hand to the right place, she finally consented. Went there last night myself around 10:30 pm. I asked if I could get an hour massage and they said no problem although they close at 11 pm. I was half drunk when I went in so was half asleep throughout the massage. At the hour point she asked if I wanted to stay longer and said it would be .3 for an additional 30 minutes. Keep in mind the menu says it's .5 for an hour and .7 for two hours, so she was trying to pull something on me, wanting to charge me a total of .8 for 1.5 hours. I asked if she would include a HJ in that and she said, "Boss will not allow it," so I said I would not allow her to overcharge me either. She didn't understand that, so I got dressed and when I was about to walk out the door she asked for a tip. I told her I'd never been there before and didn't expect to pay a tip. She said, "Not even $10? $5?" I wanted to explain in front of her boss that she had tried to overcharge me behind the curtain, but I probably won't go back so didn't bother.

Sandy Springs LE, CID and Code Enforcement are continuing their efforts at making their city a shiny happy place. A local bail bondsman contact (don't ask) informed me last night that he's been very busy of late - they've been on a tear for the last 3 weeks, primarily for massage parlors, but they are so slick about finding people and places that everyone could stand to be a little more alert. With it being in the rear of a busy / upscale strip center right in towm made me think it could be an appointment / internet booking only place with a website.

If you don't know anything about it with the info i gave then there is no reason to answer my post. "How do i know" Let say i know an owner of a bussiness very close that informed me of the place. He not a person to use the services and i'm not going to ask him about it with him knowing my family. Clear enough? If i don't see a post with info in the next week or so i will post the address.
Well, I generally operate under the assumption that if someone had been there, they would have posted about it. If there are no posts about it, then it's virgin territory among us in here and it's up to me to check it out.
Now, of course, I realize that's not always going to be true; someone may have been there and NOT posted about it ... but I see that as less likely than the former.
