After several months of driving by or stopping in the parking lot and chickening out, I finally went by today at 2:30pm until about 4. Not much going on. Just some dudes who seemed to be into each other. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just not my scene. I'll have to stop by late night when I have a chance. The theatre looked like it had some potential.

Stop by the bookstore today. I thought since it was a holiday I just might get lucky. I found out the only way I was getting lucky is to change my sexual orientation. No thanks. Sidebar: I was raised and have always practice looking people in the eye especially when they're looking at you. Not this place. I just avoid all eye contact so nobody gets the wrong idea and starts following me around.

One positive thing, I did manage to get the address to the yahoo group. So maybe I can avoid the dead times.

Stopped by for the first time at around 1:30 pm on Wednesday, 2/18. There were about 10 cars in the lot. I browsed the front area of the store and then asked the gentleman at the counter if there were many people back in the theater. He said, "What do you mean? ", and before I could say anything else, "Just guys. " Based on that, I passed on going in. Overall, however, looked to be a clean and well run establishment, but I suppose you already knew that.

I did ask about a Yahoo! Group and was told that there isn't one. I guess I'll need to find one of you all there sometime and see if I can get it that way.

Stopped by Friday night from 11:45 to 1am and it was all dudes again. I saw an ad on CL saying there was going to be a couple at 6pm. I guess I want to know when girls are generally there and if there is any truth to the CL ads?

I was surprised to hear nothing was happening on a late Friday night at 15th. I was there the previous Friday from 8 to 11 and the place was jumping. Generally you can expect to find something Friday and Saturday nights, but this again points out the necessity of signing on to Melrose Fun. Look for announcements from Nancy B, Femcar and Amber (mystery girl in gold dress, who is no contact except for Bukake). These 3 are heaven sent. Other women will post about their appearance as well, but these others aren't my type, but they certainly are enthusiastic, action-oriented folks.

Bottom line, never, never go to 15th unless someone on the listserv announced they're coming. Otherwise, you're driving a long way and paying $20 to see a bunch of lonely looking dudes shuffling back and forth
