I'm not sure of this because it was a while ago but I think Broadway was originally VIP. A lot of places did name changes but the one I will never forget was Gentlemen's Retreat in a Fairhaven strip mall just over the New Bedford line. They had a pool you could use after the deed and they had some great beautiful women. Some asshole had the place closed down.

I m talking almost between 25-30 years ago!!

Paperboys for the Lowell Sun used to go to The bank in the shopping plaza by the sears/star market and man what was that mens clothing store!!

between the sears and bank was a place in back of the bank where i used to see "women" not wearing much for clothes going to work and not being able to see anything past the door.

The place was not there for too long...by time i got into high school in the early 80's "BayBanks" had expended and had the space of this former place.

Strip clubs..I never visited 3 Copper men.

I selected the 16+/-$ per/month plan for 100min anytime.

After the month is up I can Top up with my second card or let it expire and get a new # with the same phone.

During set-up (on another phone with Virgin) I was able to give my real (NOT) name and no contact info.

Seems to give "Some" comfort of sorts.

Any report on the business in Malden that advertises on CL?

I can't imagine the ladies actually working the walk-in area are good looking as the ones in the photo. Anything extra a good tip will get?

Massage parlors in Lowell...one above Expresso pizza on central street and one in the Sears plaza off of plain street...cheap in the day and FS all the way.

Three copper men and the Celebrity and the white eagle were the strip joints. The Celeberity (SP?) and the Three Copper men always had take out action. wow, I grew and learned at these places.

Yeah, the VIP was on First Street. I spent too much time there in 1973-75. For a long time they had some kind of wall decoration with chains in it; then one Sunday the Globe magazine had an expose on BDSM, and the next day the owner took the chains down because he thought it would look bad (that's what the girls said, anyway).

I have been then and was sorely disappointed. I recommend Ybor Strip (or Mons Venus if money is no object). I love old school porno theater and peepshow scene, but found Tampa a total waste of time in that regard.

I'll second the Mons Venus recommendation. See my report from last November in the Tampa section. It's no Providence Cheaters, but it was hands on roaming.
