They can do whatever it takes I believe, they use them for drug bust all the time. They buy drugs get the dealer arrested and that's that. They walk or get reduced sentence for trouble they got in. Welcome to the good ole USA where LE does what they want.

People are so careful about placing the money in an envelope on the nightstand instead of handing it over directly, or using code words, but unless it's recorded it'll all just come down to a jury believing the monger or provider, or believing the cop. Most juries will believe the cop.

We already know the informant was lying, because the due rate was $180, not $185.

Why didn't the cops follow them after the visit and bust the H dealer. That would have been a better use of resources.
