I always think that the people working in Strip Clubs do it for a living and if they can't, the quality and the cleanliness of the club will suffer. The number of high quality strip clubs with high quality girls in Atlanta is getting fewer and fewer. Not everybody makes a living between their legs. There are decent single moms and students trying to support their kids and schools. I always tip the dancers if I look at them and to the bathroom attendents for keeping the bathroom clean. I pay for service. In this day and age, $1 can't even buy a cheeseburger. In return, when the dancers have time and when there are no other clients, they come to my table to keep me company to hang out. It is nice being treated like a friend than a punter. Not to mention they give me a much better dance than most.
I respect your opinions, but different strokes for different folks.
By the way, I notice a lot of girls are charging $200 for the half hour nowadays. I never pay that. $150 is my standard. Since I am friends with them, sometimes I even pay less than $100, on a slow day when there are no customers. But of course, I do pay them also the DJ money. $15 for the half hour. I am talking about girls quality 8+, nice white spinner late teens and early twenty girls.
I hear ya. I agree different strokes / different folks. I don't want to try to get into a dick measuring contest over who gets treated the best at strip clubs, but I get treated very well and back when I was doing VIP more regularly was always getting the "friend of the bar" discount from the girls. I tip and I tip well. I just don't indiscriminately throw it around the room. I tip the women I have an interest in, buy them a drink etc. I take good care of bartender / server. I just don't feel like it is my job to buy diapers and textbooks for everyone in the room.
As an aside on the bathroom attendants. I've never had a problem with the ones that do their job well and aren't obnoxious. I pay my dollar because I want to wash myself. I just think they add little value.
They usually have some type of drink specials, going on. Other than that, I've become a pro, at nursing my beer. They don't even have the free lunch menu, anymore. Smh!
Still Dew it, though.
DeWalt.
I do the same, but the last few years, maybe going back to 2008, I have not really seen what one might call "good economic times" and it has made me much more sensitive to costs. My life costs have increased and my income has decreased, I doubt this is a shock to anyone who Works for a living, or pays their own insurance. So, they use to be a fun place to drop some cash, but that cash isn't nearly as plentiful so I rarely go anymore, and when I do. I appreciate a good value. So, when the bartender says, that'll be $8, (plus the obligatory tip), it stings a little.

The bathroom attendant
Yeah. I forgot about the bathroom attendant. I can't stand those guys. I actually don't tip them unless I take full advantage of their services. Also, I'm not suggesting that you have to throw out $1's just because a dancer is on stage, but if you are sitting right by the stage staring, you should be tipping. Like I said right there at the end of my post, I can get in and out of the club in the afternoon for $20 or less!
My pet peeve to is the bathroom attendant. Why do we need those guys? Dad taught me to piss by myself years ago.
Guess in defense of the bathroom attendant, they sell a lot of miscellaneous stuff. One of my stripper favs was whining for a cigarette and I am non-smoker.
To keep her happy bought 2 cigs for a buck from the the bathroom attendant, which seemed pretty fair deal.

What prompted my comments was Parrot's post asking about clubs.
To be clear comparing and contrasting cost on a $ per nut (inside of something other than your pants) basis a strip club is not going to stack up well vs. Most lower end escorts. A strip club is a different kind of experience and certainly one that when you have to make choices gets left out of the mix.

I always theorized that the bathroom attnedant was there to reduce the chance of customers jerking off in the stalls. Keep the customer horny and unable to relieve themselves and they are more likely yo by more dances / VIP. At least that the theory.

Does anyone know if Toya is still working at Follies!
Can someone please write a small guide or give tips on how you personally have fun at the strip joints.
I'm anxious to know what your strip club budgets are and what are your goals when going inside?
Every time I go to a strip joint I feel disappointed and teased with no but and lots of cash wasted. I always feel like it would have been better and cheaper to just hop on BP and get my rocks off.
2 strip clubs I've been to in atl are strokers and pinups.
Strokers in clarkston was too damn expensive 10 a dance and annoying / disrespectful DJ wouldn't shut the hell up. The bouncers were also cold and mean for no reason. The whole time they were giving me dirty looks. Why motherfuker, you're like 6 feet 280 lbs what threat am I to you and you should be swimming in hoes since you work at a strip club. WTF are you unhappy about clown? The job is easy.
How much cash do you guys budget out to spend at follies, strokers or pinups? How many dances do you usually get?
Do you go commando?
Do you ever bust one in the club from a good dance without VIP?
Please put me on game, I want to give the strip club another chance.
I think of strip clubs in terms of prospecting: go in, review the goods, get a vibe from girls of interest, and then go from there. I am very, very direct about why I'm there (I like you; let's fuck sometime?) I don't try to "game it" or anything, because I just don't have time for that.
Cash? I guess if I go to Follies I usually drop maybe $300-400, depending on how long I'm there. That's my primary hunting ground, with Shooter Alley as a secondary. I like the hot young black spinners, both clubs have them, and I know that at those clubs I have close to a 100% chance on closing a fuck deal with one (or more).
I'm not interesting in busting a load out on the floor. If I want to bust a nut RIGHT NOW, I'll take her to VIP and fuck her. I'm not into spending the rest of the afternoon with crusty underwear and stained pants.
Commando? No. I just can't bring myself to actually DRESS FOR A LAP DANCE. That's just too committed for me.
Again, the game is that there is no game. The girls know what's up, and the last thing you want is to waste money and time on a girl who isn't for sale or rent.
O.

Maybe the strip club is not meant for me then. My budget would be about 250 and that's for everything: parking, door fee, drinks, dances, VIP, etc. Such a small amount of cash won't get me far I see.
I guess pinups would be the best deal for me since dances are 5 bucks.
Ahh, the life of a lowly monger. Another day, another hard earned dollar wasted on these [blue][Deleted by Admin][/blue].

For Atlanta strip clubs I usually go with 200-250 to a strip club. This money for me is strictly for getting dances on the floor as I've not gone to VIP in an Atlanta club in years. In my heavy strip club days a few years back I would go to the $5 strip clubs (Babes and PinUps) with only 150, but that was always during the weekdays and I'd usually get there early around 7-8 pm.
Do you go commando?
For me I always go commando, HOWEVER, I go commando in my everyday life so it's not something I'm doing just because I'm going to the strip club. My strip club trips are planned 95% of the time and when I go I usually dress business casually'ish. I say this because my goto pants (I call them my strip club pants since I rarely wear them except when I got to strip clubs) are typically nylon dress type pants. Which are very thin so contact during grinding is maximized of course because I'm dressed business casually I don't stand out like the guy wearing jogging pants or a jump suit.
Do you ever bust one in the club from a good dance without VIP?
Just getting a good dance has never made me bust one.
For me personally going to a strip club (in Atlanta) is about just checking out and feeling up chicks I like with the possibility of getting some digits for something more down the line. I don't go anymore (I did in my heavy strip club days) with the intent of getting off. I used to be the exact opposite in my younger and much heavier strip clubbing days when I was in there 4 times a month.

StripClub
For me, I prefer the clubs, mainly because I love to watch and feel a girl twerk on little man to some bass-induced jams. You can definitely "get off" on the main floor, without the need for VIP, if you are in the right club and being serviced by the right dancer. And if you have a regular or 2, the cost is no more than what you would pay a low end BP girl (speaking on black clubs). There is a reason why dancers like Hurricane and New York get mentioned on these boards (LOL! And there are actually quite a few others that are just as good, you just have to feel them out.

Good luck.

A good one can be worth their weight in goal. If he is smart, he gathers all the intel on the girls, and can tell you who does what and more important, about how much and if it is worth your time. It may take a couple of trips to get a good relationship, but tipping the dollar has saved me thousands. In addition, they keep the piss off of the floor, and vomit out of the toilet area. In their defense, they work for tips only, and purchase the supplies from their own pockets. At least it is not that asshole in front of the QT begging for change, or the one out by the gas pump that just ran out of gas. We are like most people that I know, you either love them or hate them.

More of a social experience where there may be some opportunity for release, no assurances. I think Parrot may be focused on the wrong type of business for his interests.
But I don't go to a lot of bars at this point, it's just too expensive. $8 for a drink? If makes the $10 lap dance seem like a bargain.

Ahh, the life of a lowly monger. Another day, another hard earned dollar wasted on these hoes.
I'd say that $250 is a workable budget.
I usually get four dances with a girl to get a sense of whether or not she's worth assessing in VIP, so that's $190 ($40 for the floor dances, $150 for VIP); if VIP goes well, usually it's not long before some kind of OOC meeting can take place. Add in drinks and junk fees, and you're probably looking at $250 or so.
I look at strippers in terms of an acquisition fee: there tends to be an initial start-up cost which is high, but it drops significantly later on (since it trends to less P4 P and more "fuck buddy" I've never calculated a break point but there's certainly a point in the relationship when the investment swings to the plus side.
Example: A couple of years ago, I hooked up with a 19 why. O black spinner at Follies ("Secret") . I ran around with her for about 6 months, and probably fucked her about 40 times during that period at a total cost (lunches, gifts, acquisition fee, occasional club visits) of maybe $3000-4000, so about $75-$100 per "session". I'm not factoring in the time value of "hassle" (since there was some), which is probably needed in a fully rational model, but considering the quality of the goods, it was a "good investment".
