The fact is, unless you're using google voice from your smart phone, (which stores your data anyways) there is no way for me to contact you should something come up and I need to cancel. Example: Last time I took a call from a google voice user, imagine their surprise when they got to my place, which was flooded. My A / C had exploded everywhere. It was unexpected and I needed to cancel. I couldn't cancel because they had called from google voice, using their computer which showed a default number of 760-XXX-8888. Also, google voice numbers can be frequently changed. If I can't reference it against our many screening options as providers, you won't be meeting me. I'm not inviting someone that I can't verify, into the same home where I lay my head at night. Phone issues happen too, for example, for the past 3 weeks I have been unable to receive texts from iPhone's. It's fixed now, but google voice. No Bueno.
Go to google and look up your voice account. Every text thru google voice and every call is stored. Not safe.
Thanks for the explanation. I understand better now, I use it on a smart phone thus don't seem to have the PC issues. To me it works functionality wise like my net10 did. I'm sure the NSA has all text and voice calls anyway so I'm SOL no matter what I use. LOL.
