IMO, it's silly moral puritanism under the guise of "child trafficking". Last 10 years or so, the government and people in general have been really busy making sure everyone thinks and acts a certain way. People waste their time and energy (like in the Rants and Raves thread) fighting about WHICH way everyone should act and think, but the larger issue is that it's become accepted by almost everyone that we should all be under control.

A little guidance for an out of state visitor. I cancelled plans to come to city (strip clubs and dinner date mainly) this weekend when Mayor Bottoms announced that all non-essential businesses were to close and dining would be take out only. I now see the governor stated she had over stepped her authority and this was not enforceable. So, did the clubs and restaurants that were already open remain open? Further confusion because so many of the clubs are not in the city proper but in surrounding cities such as Clarkston, Conley, East Point, etc. Was this basically a political statement with no action taken? It makes sense that this stuff is starting to ramp up now. They're figuring out how to use the internet.
