In my general experience, it is rare that any fees are paid to the Mamasan / greeter and are more usually paid to the attendant. You can pay once (house fee plus tip) or pay each separately — that's more a matter of your preference— at least for your first visit. House fee, always paid up front: generally, 40 hhr and 60- hr. Some places might try for more these days but no more than +$10-$20 respectively. If you pay this to the girl, she will take it and go pay Mamasan and come back. Gives time to get undressed and under the towel. She'll come back and start the rub.
