I always check out ISG first, before I travel. I have had excellent experiences from Canada to Argentina, UK to the UAE. There is lots of local info regarding safety, travel, dining and so on. You may find sex guides with the local expertise and contacts to facilitate your trip (and / or overcome language barriers). Only go with guides endorsed by multiple senior members. The forums will also help you understand how the sport-fucking game is played in these different countries. For example, in Argentina there are "Chica bars" where you find lots of chicas.
