The fact of me being Asian opens many doors at some places, but closes many doors at others. I can probably understand. So many times the reports here do not help me. I noticed there is a new place in the strip mall in the same parking lot as dutch bros, close to Ross. I went once a couple days after it first opening. I had no hint of extras. Got 90 min. All was spent working on the back. I asked, "no front"? And she just said "sorry all done". I thought it was quite odd.

Over all the experience was ehh. Massage was her pressing on my body over towel for 10 minutes. Then she said half hour not long enough for full body only will do back. I indicated that it's time for the flip. I left happy-ish. The short massage was interrupted 3 times while she checked her phone. After the flip she stopped the happy part twice to leave the room. We agreed to BBBJ but she left for three minutes mid task. When she came back she had to start over then said times up. Finish next time. I was taken aback and asked if I could DIY. She then oiled her hand up and finished the job. When done she left, I got dressed, she came back in and wasn't happy with the tip amount. I thought it was fair for what I got. Let's say it was well over 50% of the entrance fee. Overall experience 6 out of 10. Maybe it was the HH that threw it off but I never do an hour on a first time visit. I got burned by Coco at Asian Pearl in Tigard. Got a 90 min with nothing on the flip. She allowed touching throughout the 90 minutes but didn't even offer DIY.

Side note: in LA you can get an hour massage for 35 $, and every visit down there I left happy. PDX needs more competition to drive prices down. That will lead to larger tips. I went in down there expecting to spend 120 but left 80 lighter and was allowed UTC pen.

Business has picked up there due to some experiences (overblown IMO) that people have been spreading. So one can expect interruptions while there. Also make an appointment if your going there. I'd like to mention the walls don't go up to the ceiling either, so you may have to listen to next guy. Anyways, there has been an increase in competition, and some better offerings than in past years in the area. But many of these places are connected. So it can be a bit like wack-a-mole finding what suits your taste. But anyways, Gateway, meh.

]I'm new to Portland via years based in Southeast Asia. Don't expect the same cheap, saucy scene, but any downtown Asian parlors worthwhile for HJ? And cost info appreciated. Thanks!

First let me say I am from Hawaii so I don't mind the middle aged Asian ladies. I actually try to find these types because if you are just a little nice to them they are more likely to finish the job.

If you are a repeat customer they almost certainly will. I went to Sun Massage after reading UncleChu's report. Granted this is dated material but I am finally in a financial position where I can splurge.

Been seeing some ads lately on a couple of my goto sites that really hint at some fun. Most are on east side and Vancouver. I am heading to that side of town in a couple hours, and was wondering where I should go. Some I haven't gone due to rubmap ratings and such, but alas I know to ignore those to a point.
