It was reported in the news that Nashville is starting the first prostitute reform program in the state. Someone many of us are familiar with was featured, although oddly they implied that she was an example of someone who would benefit from the program and not someone who was entering it.

On the other hand, as drug decriminalization takes hold, entrenched LEO bureaucracy may panic and switch drug units to other "vices" to avoid staff cuts. Enhanced property seizure laws make prostitution busts as profitable as drug-related confiscations.

As I recall July '14 was when the property seizure went into active law. The pigs immediately raided four local asian massage businesses using this new law. They could never tie any of the 4 massage clinics to human trafficking yet the kept the assets and the owners and forced them out of business or to sell. If my recollection is not accurate please advise, but this is what I recall.
