Girls posing as guys, uncles sneaking in, these have made a lot of admins wary of late of just letting everyone join. I think it took 3 or 4 mos before anything worthwhile came through my FB profile. After that I started having enough common friends (hobby profiles friending hobby profiles) that more options opened up.
So the funny thing that kind of backfired on me when I started FB was using jailview to try to guess who played and who to connect to. While it works, I also ended up with a sizeable chunk of "friends" that don't play and that I want to stay far, far away from.
