Man, I have been out there boys. I mean from Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, Oxnard, Ventura, Pomona, Los Angeles, Long Beach/Compton, and even to Las Vegas earlier this month. However, last night was one of the worst nights I've ever witnessed since the 90's when there was an economic melt down in America.

Went down to LA for some family business and hit Figueroa from Imperial to El Segundo. Nothing doing. I went to Avalon and El Segundo and made that left at the Burger King and headed North to see if there was love on Avalon to Manchester. You won't believe this. NOW COUNT THE SQUAD CARS I STATE BOYS....At 91st and Avalon, LE had a car pulled over. That was a wrap for Avalon and the east side of town. I decided to hit Central and LE was parked at McKinley and Manchester. Nothing doing.

So, I tried Manchester going west to Manchester and Western. Made the right on Western going Northbound. Saw LE and the propelled lights in the air. I saw seven patrol cars. I went past. Saw Lisa. She waved, but I gestured to her I would return. Got to Florence and Western and saw three squad cars in rush to get to a call of a possible disturbance. Arrived at Western and Slauson. No doing. Saw four LE cars conversating. Mind you, while all of this is going on, not one SW is in sight. Yes, it's been like this boys. Note: I was on the prowl last night from about 8:30p.m.-2:00a.m. Oh, yes. You guys know I do a marathon at times. It's the thrill of the hunt baby.

I came to my white Liquor store in the 50's and Western. Nothing but some crack addicts. Got near the Snooty Fox and two LE cars parked. Man, I mean, this is bad. Been in the dope game and back in the day, and this one takes the cake. I get to 36th Place and Western. Some delicious eye-candy was standing near the Jehovah Witness building. However, LE was coming my way. I saw three. Yes, I remember the count very well. My last resort for the night was on Jefferson. I saw nothing but some druggies. I mean, I didn't even see anything from Jefferson and Arlington to Jefferson and La Brea. There is some good news though. Just for informational purposes. When you get to La Brea and Jefferson make a right onto La Brea and the hotel is a home for many of the SW's on the Pig. Man, I did this driving back and forth on a half a tank of gas boys. I mean, you can hear a pin drop. Even the clubs in Los Angeles were empty. Meaning, dance clubs I'm used to going to.

The economy has taken a toll on the street scene. Holt has been empty, however, when I do see one or two as Misfit does, Pomona PD is right around the corner dodging and weeving in-and-out of traffic to catch the so-called mongerer. I tried Baseline the other night. Nothing doing. I tried East Los Angeles and nothing doing. You can hear a pin drop boys. Lastly, I have one thing to tell you guys. Please be careful out there now like never before. Did you count the LE cars? Thirteen, including the eyes in the sky. I'm still here boys. Give me holler. Been in the game for thirty plus years and still hungry baby....Peace out boys and good luck.

One more point: I saw more LE cars than SW's on any track. When I saw the hotty gallery in the 100's on the Pig a couple of nights ago they were being sweated by LE. I mean, legalize prostitution. I'm a huge fan of public radio and yesterday on 89.3FM from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. there was a topic about legalizing prostitution in Las Vegas and taxing it. We had quite a few I think mongerers calling in and advocating this for the local area as well. How does this relate to the topic at hand? I think we should legalize it. Alright to the Misfits, Vlade's, BMalibus, Baldies, and all the other true homies in here. I was arrested about 5 years ago also caught in a sting. You can't get out of it. What you can do though is agree for a different charge, I agreed on trespassing and did 15 days (-3 for time served) of cal trans and hiv testing/class. PM me if you need more info.

Years ago when I got busted I had to pay $1,000 fine plus community service plus HIV test. Public defender is a joke, good luck to ya.

No, and it's really not that BAD out there. Be patient and keep looking. That's what we do.

Was it on Wednesday or thursday of this week around 7pm-9pm? Cuz I drove around and I got a bad feeling on 7th/Towne area. I was going to pick up, but it just seemed out of place. A lot of "bums" hanging out in the area, more than normal, talking to the SWs. I circled twice and I couldn't stand it anymore and just left.

Thanks all[/QUOTE]If this is your first offense you will probably just get away with paying a fine. That's what happened to me. When I went to court I saw the other people that got busted with me. The only one of us that had to see a judge was the one who had priors for driving without a license. The rest of us just went home. It's still on your record though which sucks.

Sorry to hear you got busted. Your best bet is find a attorney that specializes in these types of cases. I think it's a $500 fine with 3 years summary probation. The judge may restrict your driving privileges.

Your best bet is cruise and get the ph#'s of the SW's that interest you. LA is kind of a pain to cruise because the strolls are so spread out.

I've seen reports on newscasts that the downtown area is supposedly flocked with cameras. (similiar to what now the city of lynwood has in that small stretch of 2-3 miles). I think long beach has some in its downtown district too. I've heard the downtown la area has way more cameras.

Although it goes on your record, but after paying fine you can buy your way out of probation for a few hundred, then after that you can file to have the it esponged off your record for like $25 and filing out a form. This way nobody except for police would ever see it.

But there is still a record of the arrest and local police agencies may still have the item marked as a conviction.

It's best if you have an attorney that gets the case dismissed or a deffered entry of judgement(the court will give you conditions and if you meet those conditions after a certain length of time, the court will dismiss the case). That way, an arrest will still appear, but you can truthfully answer that charges were never filed or the case was dismissed prior to trial when you fill out a job application.

Don't be cheap, get an attorney! The money you spend to get someone who actually understands (and doesn't pretend to know) the law will be beneficial and can advise of what really happens down the road.

I know there are a lotta' guys on here that think they know, and in fact some are very knowledgable, but again, when you're actually dealing with a conviction in real time, get some good representation and do not even mess with a public defender - that's a deathwish!
