Just heard on the news radio there was a Backpage protest somewhere in Downtown because of the censorship of the Escort ads. There weren't that many in the protest. A few Escorts and Mongers.
Saw this in the local rag recently, be safe out there.
A WORKER OF the Gunnison Spa, 6338 W. Gunnison St. , was issued citations for alleged prostitution and operating a house of ill fame after officers conducted a sting operation at about 11:10 am Saturday, Jan. 7, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Responding to complaints by residents, an undercover officer went to the business in for a 1-hour massage for $70, and during the massage the officer solicited a sexual act and the woman allegedly agreed to perform the act for $50, police said.
Heard this on the News Radio today;.
A guy had a date set up with a girl he met on Tinder. The guy got the motel room and told the girl the room number. She told him to leave the door open while he showered. As he was showering someone entered the room taking his phone, clothes and keys. Later that day the girl erased her Tinder listing. Police are still looking for the suspects.

One of the never do's ever is to shower while she is in the room or give her your room number in advance. What they do is similar in that then they can text that info for a rip off!! Actually those casino girls out there seem completely out of my league, however if one wanders over to their forum in lv and looks under casino girls and streetwalkers as well one might find some of the basic rules interesting. Actually kind of funny because some of the guys took some drive by candids of the girls. It's very tempting.

It's across the street from a butera food store and parking lot. Some of the stores are empty on that little strip center. Something is wrong here. Sounds like someone dropped the dime in 16 because she realized her husband was stopping there after work for a quick tune up! I literally bicycle by their front door just about every day of the week on my exercise or errand rides. I have never even seen anyone waiting in their little lobby. I think I may have seen the house mom or a girl working when a car stopped in front to bring in some food or something, but I never see any activity of any kind in front bad or good weather. The door is usually cracked open and the lttle open sign is on, but no I have never seen anyone. Strange.

"Responding to complaints by residents" Is there anyone who doesn't get that lame cop excuse? "I stopped him because his tail light was out and discovered a major amount of cocaine. " This place has been there how long and just now residents are complaining? The girls are out in front on the sidewalk soliciting? Residents are going in looking for a legitimate massage and getting propositioned? Of course it's bulls hit? What difference does it make? Who's going to attack the police for stopping an illegal service? Which of you mongers is going to stand up for them and complain the cops are ruining your hopes for a paid HJ? This is the risk we take with our hobby, people. How many of us wouldn't even be doing it if the home partner wasn't so uptight or boring?

One thing I remember, the house in the alley always had someone looking out the window while I waited at the back door. Granted I would go after dark, heck it gets dark by 5 pm in the winter. Busy nights there would be 3 or 4 cars running in the back alley because mongers were being sent back and told theres a bit of a wait. In a neighborhood full of police I often wondered how they stayed open so long.
I love your closing sentence. So simple and true! It's good to know the boys in blue are protecting the city from hand jobs while the youth of the city are so busy killing each other and too many innocent people. They really need to get their priorities straight. Maybe like focusing on underage escorts.

There is a dentist right next door so it does not look suspicious. As far as calling in, it's bs of course. So much was said over this and I agree with everything said. 16 is not the busiest district as mentioned it's a lot of single fam homes owned by city people that have to have a city address. Jeff park blue line transit center attracts some undesirables, but really in the 2 years I have lived up here no problems whatsoever. Yea one sees the usual smash and grab window crystals on the curb after a break in, but that is city life. I own in probably the " un " safest part of the city the west loop and some fool tried to grab my scooter in my secure, private and locked down garage! I believe in the club! They make one for bikes and I use them! Have several actually! It just is down here.

I mean I am all over this area on my bicycle, scoot, walking, pub tran and some of the old people put their chairs or couches so they can look outside. Like I say if you have an appt and you park on the side and go right in I don't see issues. If you are in the back in that little alley or parking lot late and of course residents in the back no all the other businesses are closed at that hour, I mean come on you are really setting yourself up to be stopped for whatever (before or after) imo. If anything and you had to stage I would park in butera if they are open or at least cars in the lot.

Another Super Bowl sting by the great Mr. Dart. This guy would rather waste precious resources going after regular citizens than actual violent criminals- unreal! It went from Jan 18-Feb 5th. I don't want to post the link because these guys have been through enough crap. You can google it if you're interested. I heard it on the 4:00 news. Local cities involved were: Arlington Heights, Matteson, Lansing, and Lake County. It encompassed 15 states in total, also including this year's Super Bowl host city- Houston.
Our country seriously has it's priorities messed up. We need to follow countries like Germany and cities like Amsterdam's red light district's lead. This is ridiculous. Be careful out there.
