The organization requesting your personal info is not the issue but the real issue is that if the organization gets busted by LE, the police would conduct a search on the premises of the organization, and police would have access of the database stored in computer and police will discover all the personal info of the clients / Johns, so you might end up getting problem with LE. I heard, police can publish your phone number and picture (even from your DL) in local newspapers, and people such as your wife, girlfriend, family members, friends or colleagues would see your info in local newspapers, so your reputation would be seriously damaged. Even if the police couldn't physically arrest you, your reputation would be negatively impacted if your info or pictures are published in newspapers or any public media.

In this forum, many mongers have said that they use burner phone instead of their personal phone number, so why do you want to send your DL, which contains your legal name, date of birth, address etc.
