The elephant in the room is that LEO has been very effective in shutting down AMPs in DC. So for the time being its NOT beneficial to talk publicly about AMPs and providers in DC. Hopefully this will pass after the elections, we'll see.

DI's point hits home. If really there is a perceived or real LEO issue, better keep a low profile. Contrast this with previous posters (particularly the saddening one implicitly comparing himself to a master chef, but in fact coming across as a master loser) that seemed to miss the point that the main purpose of this type of sex guides is to provide help to people that are not familiar with the local situation and who may even happen to have a life outside mongering (again as opposed to the master loser type referred to above).

You presume to know "the main purpose of this type of guides," but you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about. This is a forum for sharing, not the help desk for arrogant piss-ants who expect information from people they presume to be their inferiors. I've directly passed info backchannel to hundreds, and to thousands through my reviews and warnings over the years, here and elsewhere.
The newbie who doesn't get the information he wants within 2 posts, then calls everyone losers for not sharing with him, is a tired, old cliche. You're doing the same thing the rest of us are, but think you're better than we are because you haven't taken the time to post information for anyone else's benefit.
Nano, how many seniors do you suppose are going to help an insolent jackass who thinks he's superior because he "has a life outside mongering?" If you're too good to associate with losers who take the time to post on mongering boards, I suggest you look elsewhere for information on the hobby you're too good for.
THing is, I have provided reports quite a few times. Yet, senior members are still like "NO can't GIVE U NO INTELZ! LULZ"
Then I can't GIVE REPORTS.
And to the guy who is talking about "go back 35 pages" why? So I can get information on a AMP that has been closed down? That makes alot of sense.

You've been around for well over a year, but your last report was in June 2011.
As to people making "unhelpful suggestions" such as going back and reading 35 pages, you left a ten dollar tip for FS at a spa, then asked for help in cleaning up your blunder.

Going back and reading 35 pages would have helped you avoid this kind of error.
About 1/4 of your post count has been discussing this topic. Try more reports and less drama, and you might notice people being willing to share info with you.

It's obvious to me that you missed the point of the "master chef analogy". Like other no-post freeloaders you provide sorry excuses for your right to free information from this forum. What one will deduce about a master loser as yourself is any kind of importance to your life, when you can't even interpret a simple analogy and have little knowlege of the english language. Based upon your misinterpretation of the facts, rhetorical inaccuracies, sentence construction, and improper language descriptors, I figure your life outside of mongering is probably with the sanitation department.
Guitar:
You hit the nail dead on. Newbies need to build up some "street cred" for seniors to feel comfortable with them. That means taking a few for the team first and asking for referrals second (maybe there ought to be a minimum of three new TOFTT posts for a newbie to gain senior status.... just an idea).
It seems like most newbies do want to be spoonfed and not take the time to do some research. This forum will provide all the info a newbie needs, to go to a spot to get whatever he wants, if he just takes time to RTFF.
Keep hittin it square with your hammer.
Dirty.
No actually back in the day we did what we needed to do. We checked out ads and websites. We went and visited providers and massage parlors and posted reports. We don't want you to post reports on stuff that we already know is legit. That does not contribute anything new to the forum. We want you to go out and see providers on your own dime and provide intel to the community. We call that TOFTT (take one for the team). We've all done it many times and expect no less from newbies.
The problem is not as much about LE as newbies wanting spoon fed information. Some of us vets stick to what is comfortable when there is little new intel. Nobody wants to mess up a good thing. If you want our valuable intel we want valuable intel from you. Go see providers and post intel on providers you don't see reports on. Then over time some of us will see those same providers and verify if the intel is good. Then slowly you will build a good rep.
I think I see your point. Certainly I could have avoided injecting venom in my comments (maybe too much booze last night, that's when I normally hit this kind of site). We all have a life, and whether we are losers or winners depends a lot on what game we think we are playing. My lesson learned (as taught by you) is that this site is not really for one-off visitors to DC like myself who do not have the time to do extensive research beforehand. Have a good life, Chiefs.

If you're a one-off visitor to different cities, post some reports on your experiences as you move around, and you'll find yourself in the position where you can ask for info before you get to a new city, and people will help you out. A standing offer to help people if they visit your home city of (X?) wouldn't hurt either.
As with a club of any kind, walking in, stepping on toes, and knocking over peoples' drinks isn't the best way to make new friends. If you come back, consider a different approach.
Good luck.
BB. Glad to see that we are back on speaking terms. I do post when I have info (not often). Should you find yourself in San Jose (Costa Rica) , Geneva, Tokyo or Merida (Mexico) , I have some not entirely uninformative posts for you on
http://www.internationalsexguide.info. They are old, but, heck, so am I. My home city (Montreal) is too easy for mongering to need introduction. Just grab a copy of the free weekly Mirror newspaper at http://www.montrealmirror.com.
Yea, because people with "newbie" obviously have only been a member of this board for a month. No way could they have been a member for over a year and have provided reports before. That's just not possible.
In just looked at your history. I only see 2 real reports. The rest is all asking for information or debating things. Sorry but you are a newbie. If those were 15 real solid reports that someone can verify, then people probably wouldn't have any problem sharing a little information with you. I only had about 20 reports before people shared some intel with me, but they were almost all actual reports. The "Regular Member" isn't keeping you from getting intel, your lack of actual reports is.

Honestly, I really don't get why everyone got so offensive with my posts. Like I said, I'm just stating how it is, but I also said I understood how. Yet you guys want to read what you want to read. Insecurity issues perhaps.
Whatever. If you have some kind of disagreement with me or anyone else on this forum you should do so via PM so you do not look like a fool in public! We are not here to read your whining.
Thanks and please move along now. Nothing to see here.

JJ
To be honest, I wasn't really "Whining" I said one thing, then said "but I understand why." Then a bunch of seniors started blowing up, So I defended and responded. That's the gist of it. But apparently I'm the bad guy.

JJ
Also in regards to "having a disagreement with someone then it should be handled via PM" shouldn't that apply to others as well?
