If a person has a legal question do they get on a website that doesn't have any lawyers on it and ask legal questions and make assumptions based on how people respond? If every single guy walking in the door goes to that room, bam! Now where they would go with that information, who knows. In years past, they have been known to harass ladies through the door by getting their names from the hotel staff and looking for past or current dirt on them. Did you read the agencies news posting, "Discretion Discretion Discretion" on their website, the link was provided in my previous post? Did your original post not make many hobbyists question the safety of all hotels, not just ones in a certain county, as well as the safety of apartments? There are 19 hotels in the local vicinity in question and it would take a lot of Uncles resources to patrol each hotel parking lot for every HHR or HR appointment just looking for repeat tags of "potential hooker clients". The more likely scenario is looking for outstanding warrants. I do know that one well known provider a few years ago and a couple of EB providers were arrested because Uncle patrols the parking lots running the tags specifically looking for a vehicle registered to someone with an outstanding warrant. In all these cases drugs were the motivating factor.

Many don't even have cameras at entrances or parking lots. Also think of the resources it would take for each hotel to have someone sitting behind a monitor checking each floor and hallway 24/7 just looking for a specific room having a lot of visitors where maybe a hooker is working.

I was specifically talking about being questioned while going to or leaving a room, not actually being caught in a sting. There is nothing illegal about being in a hotel room with someone of the opposite sex. If Uncle or the hotel feel you aren't cooperating by answering questions the hotel can issue a no trespass but, they can't arrest you without evidence of exchanging money for sex.

I have a friend who is very tied into the hobby and he told me that he has knowledge of over 20 providers arrested or detained for prostitution over the past years and only two of them gave Uncle info. Did your original post not make many hobbyists question the safety of all hotels, not just ones in a certain county, as well as the safety of apartments? Has there not been a lot of assumptions made especially regarding apartments, cameras in hotel hallways and LE patrolling parking lots? Again this is paranoia and hobbyist's making assumptions.

Logic indicates checking for repeats by patrolling parking lots is not the reason. There are 19 hotels in the local vicinity in question and it would take a lot of Uncles resources to patrol each hotel parking lot for every HHR or HR appointment just looking for repeat tags of "potential hooker clients". The more likely scenario is looking for outstanding warrants. I do know that one well known provider a few years ago and a couple of EB providers were arrested because Uncle patrols the parking lots running the tags specifically looking for a vehicle registered to someone with an outstanding warrant. In all these cases drugs were the motivating factor.

Actually most of the higher end hotels in the area don't have cameras in the hallways. Many don't even have cameras at entrances or parking lots. I have a friend who actually has had incidences at three of these hotels and the police were involved and the hotels had NO cameras thus no security footage to help with the investigation (s). Also think of the resources it would take for each hotel to have someone sitting behind a monitor checking each floor and hallway 24/7 just looking for a specific room having a lot of visitors where maybe a hooker is working.

So once again I say there is a lot of paranoia and assumptions being made about all of this because one hooker couldn't be discreet about her profession where she was staying. Once again if you are a customer of the agency you might want to contact your favorite lady and ask them.[/QUOTE]

This is supposed to be an informative board where we help each other out and let everyone know what (and who) we've seen, experienced, and the like. Information that could compromise safety is definitely something that counts.

I agree. This information is definitely helpful for us to watch out and being careful in future. If you haven't posted this and communicated directly with DI, they might have handled the situation or choose to ignore it but we would never know this happened. We only knew now because you had some insider info which is rare and helped to be extra careful next time.

When someone tells you not to post info, or questions why you are posting the info, it is always good to question that persons motive for suppressing the info.
