What is the deal with Foxy? They're opening tomorrow and they're claiming on social media there will be dancers. Are there private dances?

Like the other clubs they're only doing stage dances with distancing. Dancers can mingle but how much and how close depends on the club. Don't expect privates any time soon.

Some are turning the "Champagne Room" into "Private Dining Room".
This is a plan I can get behind.

Initially was a bit surprised when I saw a dancer & customer heading down the hall outside the VIP rooms, but saw the table when I went up to tip the dancer on stage. Bartender shortly after was bringing drinks and food over to one of the rooms.
Hi I'm new to you state anybody hear anything on when mickey's pub is re opening I'd love to try it. Or have any recommendations for someone new to the state to try. If you'd like any recommendations for ct feel free to pm.

The clubs seem to be trying to rake out as much cash from customers as they can at this time. Perfectly understandable, but, not sure how many takers there would be, and, also, some like myself are disgusted at the greed and will not return. They have to tread a fine line. Escorts are a lot cheaper and you don't have to pay for the room. I just always like the clubs since no appointment was needed but it looks like time for a change.

Are you out of your mind? The clubs have had no cash flow for 6 months. Some will go bankrupt.

There is no "greed".[/QUOTE]Agreed, they are a business just like anybody else and entitled to make a profit. Hard to think of a business that's been hit harder by covid than the stripe clubs. I happen to think RI has one of the best scenes in the country and hope that they all pull through.

Will ask bouncer & dancer separately about costs regarding private dining, and post back here.
"Clubs seem to be trying to rake out as much cash from customers" -- I haven't experienced increased drink charges, entry fees, inflated food prices, or being required to buy merchandise.
I have observed that the "free lunch at noon" is not offered, but since I never came for that, I don't miss it.
Prices are what they were pre-covid. To me, that eliminates greed as a factor. Seems like a business trying to survive, in an environment where the powers-that-be would be overjoyed to have them close.
As promised, I dropped in at Desire on Saturday and asked about the private dining rooms.
Found out that they are now closed with locks installed on the doors. Someone was observed by staff doing something in one of the rooms.
That might have resulted in shutting down Desire.
So no more private dining rooms.
