Any recommendations for a tourist and first time visitor. Staying on the Beach in Honolulu, with the ball and chain. Anywhere I might go for a quick respite? Thanks, JackBB
Todays (StarAdvertiser Sunday) paper has some discounts located in the Sports section. Not trying to promote mama san, but if they are willing to reduce costs, then mongers should know about it.
Maybe the other establishments including the KB & VB bars get the driff and offer discounts too? ($10 drinks as in local bars)

Or just a little further up the street-say 30secs further-to VIP. East side of Keeaumoku Street (same side as Ichiban), which is the main 4 lane road entering the shopping center.
Another choice is Lotus. Across the street (west) of the Hawaii Convention Center there is a tobacco shop. Look there and spy the sign of Lotus Spa. Lotus is also easy access from Ala Moana Shopping Center.
There are more!
If possible, report back your "out of towner" experience.
Be safe all!
