I would rather give my linked in profile and some references rather than show up at a in town suites on rivers Ave at 10 pm on a Friday night and not really know who / what is on the other side of that door. That seems way more dangerous / risky than giving someone info that is already online. The site screens them. They make sure they are who they say they are. It's a pretty rigorous process to get on those sites, unlike STG and other sites like it.
