I had another good visit to Island. The service there seems to be very reliable no matter who you get. While none of my session have been mind blowing, its a good place to go when you are looking for the regular AMP fix.

I moved down here from Atlanta and frequented the AMPs up there. I am spoiled, I suppose. My ATF was a place that you could get a table shower and spend the whole time in that room. Steam filled, sugar scrub, soaped clean, and NURU-ish body slide with FS for $.5 or less, (one hour massage was.8) depending on whom you got. If I find a place like that down here, I will probably have to get a third job.

What you describe is not readily available if at all locally. You can find similar experiences in Jacksonville and Tampa but not in Orlando. At least I have not found them yet.

As a hobbiest (and general consumer) I avoid any provider of service that may appear to try and inflate fees for a advertised product / service. Moreso when the service is somewhat personal such as a AMP or such. I never carry more than I need or expect to be paying, so if it's a first visit with a provider it's usually hit or miss for me and what I'll judge my continued patronage on. I visited Island Therapy a few times and had great experiences, until my final 'soft touch' 20 minute rush-out-the-door and that was all I needed.

I haven't visited HOA yet, but I'm eyeballing Essence and would love to experience a real NURU massage, rather than just the lotion, happy to see you explained your method.

Jay, my man, you nailed it perfectly. I have been to all three and will no longer thow my hard earned cash in their direction. I have written them off for good.
