So did you agree to help her pay the fine, or did you agree to a "business" proposition?

If it was me, I would say we do some business, I provide the donation and do with it what you want. I would never agree to "pay" for anything (rent, bail, etc).

Two, the fact that I had not heard from her before and now there was such a sense of urgency. Three, she said she would jump in my car after paying the fine and we would head over to my place. A good looking gal would never do this, or at least should never do this. Some SWs can without much fear but when a gal is particularly good looking they should never do this. And I have to believe she had not intention of doing this.

Afterwards, I received more texts from her telling me she could still come over to my place. When I asked how, since she rode the bus, got no response. So, in the end, I drove on even though she may never want to see me in the future.

I would have declined as soon as she mentioned Downtown. I would have agreed to meet her at a bus stop or anywhere else then went some where of my choosing, did the deed then left the donation. She can get to where ever she needs to be from there and she can do with the donation what ever she chooses. Always remember play safe with your life, your freedom and your money. After the drive by, not seeing her, I said we can meet first and then she can pay her fine. She said there wasn't enough time since all fines, according to her, had to be paid by 2:30 PM. I have no idea whether that is true but I didn't really care, frankly. When she said she had to have the money first, I felt it was a scam.

I told her I wasn't comfortable with the sense of urgency created. Every time I have run across a scam, there is the element of a tight time frame, dire need, a reason for temporary separation and some oddball location. This had all the ingredients.

What would you have done?[/QUOTE]First off, while I'm not sure what the offense is, I would be fairly reluctant to give a provider money in front of the Justice Center so she could go in, supposedly pay her fine, and then supposedly come and provide service later. Even if she comes back quickly, what are you supposed to do if she flakes and decides she doesn't want to hold up her end of the deal, start berating her while you stand in front of the JC with cop cars buzzing in and out?

I would be even more reluctant to bring a provider who I'd just given money to pay a fine at the JC to my house. Or any provider. But, dude, were you not just asking about issues with a provider who was trying to blackmail you? I would say not bringing providers back to your house when they're already dealing with other issues in the system would be one good way of avoiding similar problems in the future.

This didn't just happen today she had time to figure this out but chose not to deal with it till now, a special over the weekend or a pay my fine promo, and get one of you nice gentleman to agree to drive her down Monday could a worked. She may not have known how much fine but she knew it was coming. You weren't going to get extra special service or appreciation, like was said it became an expectation after the word ok.

If it's in your name, though, still a bit risky. There are many ways to look that sort of thing up, though a provider might not readily try them.

As I think about it, I don't think you even pay fines at the Justice Center (jail). I think it's at the Courthouse. I know you can pay a bond anytime at night and if a person is in jail being held on fines you can pay that anytime. I don't know about traffic & misdemeanor as far as if and when they close. HL29.

You have a lot of nerve using the word "privacy" and then effectively outing someone right after that. Anyone with even a vague memory of local news will know exactly who you're talking about. And for this reason, I will never, ever see you.

Because clearly, if I ever saw you, or if I ever even just contacted you and then something happened to me that should land me in the news, well, clearly I cannot count on you to respect my desired anonymity.

You fail to understand two things: 1) I cannot afford to ever be caught indulging in this hobby; and 2) I cannot afford even the mere appearance that I may have indulged in something I wasn't supposed to. I'm sure this applies to most of the guys on this board. You could have given us the intended advice in more general terms without revealing so much detail.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever. Give up anything (even the teeniest) on a client. Like saying that so-and-so was a client of mine and, oh yeah (Blank) happened to him and he lived (Blank) and blah blah blah. You may think you're talking to a pal, but you just gave up this guy big time.

I was shocked when I read that. I knew exactly who was being referred to. And it shook me.

I ran into a provider who I saw some time ago. She was a spinner then, and a skeleton now. This girl is 30 something and could pass for 60. Her skin sags and she wouldn't hit triple digits on the scales. I gave her a ride back to her notel and of course she was saying how another provider there is on drugs and is REALLY skinny. WOW.

These spinner / skeletons are just one pill or shot from an OD. You guys know who the girls are, their ribs stick out farther than their boobs, they have sores or are scratching or bouncing around or falling asleep. And Mongers seem to be standing in line to see them. Of course, you might just want to be really smart and see somebody like that because they'll do BBFS or even BB Greek!

Come on. Guys, there are good, safe providers (even spinners) for a few more bucks. You're just feeding their habit and sending them farther downhill. If you don't care about that, go get some Narcan to carry and rehearse what you're going to say when she OD's and LE calls and asks why a text giving her room number to you was the last thing on her phone.

If I know or even suspect they're an addict, I don't think it's right to enable them. Sure, they'll probably find the money anyway, but I don't want to be the one that gives it to them.

You would be surprised how many "safe" providers as you put it who are also drug users. I think there are far more that are users than not. You just found one that's on her last leg.
