In this case, an urgency to meet as quickly as possible for a date at my place, all while *rejecting* standard screening done by many girls (turned down a phone call as well as dinner). These rackets aim to "cash and dash," or more dangerously, resort to blackmail when accessing personal info such as names and addresses. Whoever this scammer was ended up wasting their night waiting in the lobby of a hotel I never checked into, an hour out of their way, saving me and potentially others from a bad night.
