WYP, SA, and other SD sites

I let my membership expire a few weeks ago. If I went to upgrade from my profile I was offered the 25% discount, if I upgrade from the link they sent me it is a 33% discount.

I have not pulled the trigger yet, as even at 33% off I think it is barely worth it. The number of girls that are really hot, and that are not scams or looking to be paid for a platonic relationship, is dwindling and they are quickly getting scooped up by super rich guys thinking with the wrong head or run from the site based on all the crazy messages they receive. Girls that I would not want to pick up at a bar, even after a few drinks, are sending messages like "I never meet for less than 400, and I would like to go our to dinner several times first to make sure we have a good connection". Think most of us on here know better, but problem is that most guys on site don't use this forum. Never thought I would miss the CL days, but there were so many needles in the haystack back then, if you were willing to do the hard work. Still see one of them.

The sad fact is that Seeking's reliability has taken a drastic nosedive with countless bots & scams populating their profile numbers. I report as many as I can, but it always feels like using a finger to plug a giant hole in a broken, dilapidated dam. Before long, it won't be that much different than Tinder where 95% of users are fake and / or unwilling to meet in-person. And that's been that way even prior to COVID rearing its ugly head.

Also, another reason to hold off is the time of year. Two of my regular SBs are in school, taking full course loads for this spring semester. If you like SBs who are approximately college-aged, or has that graduation cap sticker below their profile pic, or has pics of them reading books, etc--you can safely bet they're taking their education a little more seriously than most. Unless it's spring break, arranging a meet will be difficult (even more so during mid-terms and finals' weeks)! Case in point, I've had three cancellations with one regular over the past few weeks owing to school and her full-time job. I never take it personally as she's solid in my book (always let's me know a day in advance if she can't make it and once paid me back for a small loan I gave her).

Bottom line: I strongly encourage signing up around the 2nd week of May, arrange your profile how you want it that first week, then shoot a message or two to maybe 10 different profiles who've caught your eye. All of this is assuming you want to find someone in the 18-24 age bracket. So if you're looking for outside of that range, then disregard most of this post haha! Cheers!

Good points but there are a couple things good for this time of year:

Christmas gift credit card bills coming due (college and older ladies).

Going back to campus for some of the college girls, December / January can be tough when they go home for winter break. But with Covid this may be less of an opportunity. When the college ones are back in class, away from home, I've found them more open to meeting. And you may luck out with one that has a day with light or no classes.

We'll see how it plays out, I did the 33% off deal, so I have 30 days to harvest some numbers.
