Saw on the CPD web site that a lady was arrested at a spa on the 6200 block of West Belmont. I'm not familiar with the establishment, but it's had a couple of different names over the years. I'm assuming that this is a papasan joint, might be a sign that the cops are getting more aggressive with all of these places popping up. This along with a couple of dozen street walker arrest over spring and summer.

I have been there andNot sure if it's her or not but the place is listed in my phone as " Mia Old & Skinny -No" . Yes it is a Papasan place, and sad to see them get busted, but no great loss.

But I was asking mainly to know what services Kentucky provides to help women. I talk to a provider up here and from what I recall of the conversation is that the services are just bs and it really of no help at all. I would imagine that Kentucky provides even less? My point is that all these do gooders say they want to "help" women escape the sex worker gig but unless someone is willing to pony up real money to help get the girl on her feet it's just talk. If "help" means a couple of nights in a shelter and some leads to a minimum wage job (KY is still 7. 25 I think) then the girl really is not being helped. She is going back to the lifestyle because she has to eat and pay rent. No if they would legalize it a girl would have more choices and less worry about being forced or shamed into the profession. She could call the police if someone is trying to pimp her and not sharing in the money. She wouldn't have to worry about the police arresting her. But I don't think the do gooders really care about the girl. Rant over.

I am sorry I have not followed up on all of the busts through the years where the cops got johns info and came after them. Many direct busts of johns where they were outed but these lists? An alleged unlicensed spa at 63XX and. Milwaukee Ave. That is being promoted on Web sites offering sex services has been ordered shut down by the city, but it reportedly is still operating.
On Aug. 30 the city Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection issued a cease and desist order because the establishment reportedly has no massage license, a department spokesperson said. In addition, citations were issued for other rules violations, and a closure sticker was posted on the entrance, the spokesperson said.
On Sept. 23 inspectors revisited the site and issued citations for operating without a regulated business license for a massage establishment, failure to display a business license, operating after a cease and desist notice, and removal of a closure sign, according to the department.
In addition, under the site's zoning a massage establishment is required to obtain a special use from the Zoning Board of Appeals. A special use has not been issued.
A new city closure sign reportedly was posted on the entrance last week, but it was not there a few days later, and customers reportedly could be seen entering the business after Sept. 23.
One online ad for the location promotes body to body massages and "many Asian girls to choose from. " The ad said that it is open 8:30 am To 1 am Seven days a week.
Men can be seen outside the storefront late at night waiting to be buzzed in, according to residents and merchants.

Went in the morning, which I do not recommend. That was my first and last time there. MT was not attractive and although I still did L3, the massage was so-so with minimal teasing. Constantly interrupted by incoming texts and people at the door. She was the only one there.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Investigators subsequently learned that Moore had the victim engage in sex acts, posted ads on the websites, arranged dates with Johns, and collected the payments – taking half of the proceeds for himself.
On Saturday, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved felony charges of Class X Involuntary Servitude of a Minor <17, Class 1 Trafficking for Labor / Benefits, and Class 1 Trafficking for Labor / Recruits.
Moore appeared today for an initial appearance hearing at the George and. Leighton Criminal Courthouse, where he was ordered detained at the Cook County Jail pending trial.
The public is reminded that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Meeting a working girl isn't illegal. That's set in stone in the Bill of Rights under the Right of Association. The illegal part is specific sex act for a specific dollar amount. Most agencies and independents (except for AMPs and the girls that don't know any better) will hang up or not respond if you discuss specifics. This place was fucking nuts to keep a record of specific services.

I was reviewing the latest prostitution bust of a 64 year old Mongolia lady (along with violating the massage parlor act, which is a new angle) on the CPD web site and this article popped up when I searched on the address. I have to admit that $50 for a blow job is a pretty good deal given that one of our friends at the place on Michigan complained to me about getting gagged out by her previous customer for $120 on top of the $80 house fee. I'm just not close enough to take advantage of that hot papasan action.

A 64-year-old worker at a massage parlor at 6338 W. Gunnison St. Was arrested after she allegedly tried to perform oral sex on an undercover officer for $50 at about 12:35 pm Friday, Dec. 6, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The establishment, which was identified by police as Saani Spa, was issued numerous citations in connection with the incident, according to police.
The officer reportedly was offered a 30-minute massage for $50 or 60 minutes for $70, and a 66-year-old worker started the massage but was replaced by the other worker, police said. The officer gave a predetermined signal to the enforcement team to enter the spa after the second worker allegedly was about to initiate a sex act, police said.
The following citations were issued: operating a massage establishment without the regulated (therapist) business license (two counts), operating under unsanitary conditions, illegal activity allowed within a licensed business, failure to post price list for prospective customers to see, improper touching, failure to post city license number on advertisement and failure to display license.
Also, failure to meet the record keeping requirements, failure to provide customers with mandated written notice of state law, failure to maintain clear glass without coverings, failure to keep clean linens, towels and other materials used to massage in closed cabinets, employment of non-licensed therapists, failure to maintain list of therapists who perform services and allowing a non-licensed massage therapist perform massage therapy and to be seen in massage room when a patron is present, police said.

I understand that residents will be concerned when an apartment sets up in a residential neighborhood, but Saani is on a strip of nondescript businessmen.

Why would you have a spa in Norridge / portage park / Jefferson park? These are some of the most conservative areas in the city filled with city workers. The ironic thing is city workers make up the bulk of clients. There are no spas or apartments in that area so why would he care? But I do remember after Gunderson closed, a few months later, there were post on here claiming that it was open again and the famous Happy was working there. I admit, I made a trip there, and it took about 5 minutes for me to realize it was time to leave because of all of the mongers wandering around the place and trying to get in. And the neighbors were watching and were well aware of what was going on.
