Yet another time I was ripped off for $20 and found the girl on the street some days later. I got out of my car, ran up to her and grabbed her by the wrist. I forget what my plan was or if I had one, but her pimp or bf came stomping up and demanded I let her go. Not having any good options in sight I did. Punch him, tackle her and turn out her pockets? Uh, not a good plan. Crazy no win situations. I've been robbed a couple other times too. Nothing really to be done about it unless jail seems like fun. My bad for choosing poorly and not knowing the rules (these events all happened quite a few years ago if that lets me off the hook).

Yet another time I had a SW refuse to get out of my car. It took a lot of shouting and I think $5 to finally get her gone. What a drag these scenes are. Over the years I've picked up well over 100 girls and though the vast majority of them were straight dealing with me, the ones that aren't sure leave an impression. The upshot is that nowadays I'm extremely careful about who I pick up. So careful that I haven't picked up anyone in years in the States. Now I go to Thailand where the girls are as easygoing as they are easy.

And yeah, when you have second thoughts about someone you just let in the car, it can sometimes be a pain in the ass to get them the hell out of your car.

In the old days of car phones I had a girl grab my handset to my installed car phone and refuse to let go of it and it ended up ripped off. Not sure what she thought she was gonna do with a car phone handset, but at that point that loss was better to me that continuing to struggle to get her out of my car. She was out of the car but still holding on to the car phone handset, and I drove off, causing it to rip off from the phone cord. lol I also had a girl who threatened to cause me to wreck my car when we were on the freeway. lol Because I told her she was gonna have to get out (and I was still nice enough to offer to let her off where she wanted). I was, like, "You know, I'm just gonna drop you off, okay? Where do you wanna be dropped off at?" And she started freaking out saying she as gonna cause me to crash my car. lol[/QUOTE]


Honeslty, I think its just the fact that they are usually stuck outside in the weather just walking around. When someone does pick them up its a short break for them to make themselves comfortable and listen to some music before they are dumped back on the street. I have never put any more thought into it than that.

Man a lot has happened and SG is not around. Look guys I've never had a real problem with SG. I just hated how he would editorialize every post. Like I said before he seemed to hate it when people would offer helpful advice. He put down the guy that posted info about ringworm. The guy wasn't putting anyone down he just tried to help. The thing with Ashley a while back kinda pissed me off too. He kept saying over and over that she wasn't 18 and it was "CONFIRMED". I saw her a few times and she had been 18 for a while. I have no idea what his deal was with her. I had a lot of people PM me saying they felt he was trying to keep people away so he could have her. I have no idea if that was true or not,but something was up. I just wish all the people that PMed me would speak up a little more. It makes me look like the bad guy when I post this stuff. Anyway I think I will start reporting again now that SG is away for a while. I'm not trying to be a dick,but I tried to speak up about the guy a while back and no one would listen. Now maybe you will.

They may be off of Cleveland maybe a 1/2 block in either direction on some of the streets.

People were even mad at me and calling me the names he called me. I don't wish anything bad on the guy, but hopefully he will respect that others in here (regardless of the fact they don't have 3million posts or aren't senior members) have a different point of view. And that it may be either good or bad, we don't need walter cronkite commenting at the end of every post in here.

Lois called me the other day. Did some time to clear a warrant.

Saw what happened with SG and decided it might be a good idea to lower my profile a few notches. Personally I am 100% opposed to any type of activity with a minor, which includes those aged 17. I still help some of the girls out, and talk to some now and again, just not from Columbus. I've been spending most of my time out west. Arizona is a long way away and airfare isn't cheap anymore!! Wouldn't those be those red light cameras Coleman installed a few years ago? It seems the best thing to do would be to just dont run the light & you wont get a picture taken.

Well I am getting a little homesick actually. As much as the Columbus area has seen a decline in quantity of SWs, it is still considerably better than Austin. Even Dayton has better quantity than Austin, believe it or not. The police presence here is ridiculous. I never knew how lucky I had it! Don't worry. Nope, It's not the red light cameras Coleman installed a few years ago. These were just put up a couple of monts ago. The red light cameras take a picture of your plate if you run a red light. These record 24 hours a day. There are no red light cameras on Cleveland Ave.

Did a subsequent article come out indicating that they busted Sullivant Guy? My reading of the Dispatch article was that LEO is asking the public for information regarding the identity of Sullivant Guy. That's a long way from saying he's been busted, and I doubt that he will be for several reasons.

1. I've read posts by Sullivant Guy from before he was Sullivant Guy, from before he was Broad Street Guy, and before he started posting on RAPS. The one weakness he's always had is that he has a very distinctive writing style. Still, I doubt that one can connect Sullivant Guy with his various aliases simply by saying that the writing styles are similar. They would have to have some proof.

2. If they had any real info. On him, they wouldn't have asked for public assistance. They would have watched his posts, watched his activities, and given him enough room to hang himself. Before we even heard that he was a "person of interest" to LEO, they would have set him up with one of his Craigs List favorites and busted him at which point they wouldn't be asking for info. Concerning his identity. Rather, they would be reporting that "a fourth defendant frequently posted as. "

3. Sullivant Guy always disappears when there is a good indicator that LEO is investigating the boards. He's obviously smarter than any of us. You'll never hear from Sullivant Guy again just like BroadStreetGuy disappeared and no one ever heard from him again.

4. Sullivant Guy is not stupid enough to hang with other mongers or give out his personal information to mongers. If LEO wants to connect him with his online persona, they are going to have to get lucky enough to arrest a SW who has chatted with him regarding his online persona and wrote down his license number somewhere.

5. Sullivant Guy treated the sws like people making #4 much less likely to happen.

6. If they were to obtain records from RAPS, it will most likely indicate that Sullivant Guy was posting from Deuchland since he always cautioned mongers to use proxy servers.

7. If they were to follow calls back from SW's phones, they would get a number from a disposable phone he picked up.

8. Sullivant Guy is probably not even mongering right now, so good luck picking him up on the street.

9. Although LEO is good at what they do and they are doing their jobs, Sullivant Guy has never been one to romanticize mongering as anything more than a pathetic addiction. He's not one to get the God complex and think he's above being caught doing it.

10. Most of the users of this board, myself included, are telling stories which are fiction and not based in reality. I'm actually working on a book where one of my main characters is a SW. I've never actually picked one up, but I've crafted reports so I will fit in more with the crowd and I can do research on sws and mongers with experience. There are other posters who I believe live an online fantasy life (I. E. Hoho creampie) without actually acting on it. Although Sullivant Guy seems to know a heck of a lot, and have a lot of intel, who's to say whether it actually happened or not. If someone posted here about the girl the Dispatch was talking about, there is every possibility that Sullivant Guy pulled his follow-up report out of thin air.

About Sullivant Guy, I believe he will not stop banging hos. I believe I had developed an addiction myself. I cannot control my sexual urges and am always banging girls from work, around the campus, the bars, the internet, the streets, whatever. Uncle Leo's cameras magnify you license plate and they even sign the ticket. Now if you want to dispute the ticket, then do so. But, if you did the offense, you have to pay the ticket. How do you figure it won't harm your credit rating? Do you have a source on that? Certainly they send a collection agency after you and they'd probably report your non-payment to a credit bureau. Not sure what all else they can do. Can they boot your car? Suspend your license? I dunno. But I don't see how you're claiming lawyers have told you it's perfectly okay to not pay the debt and it won't damage your credit.

As much as this pains me I am going to have to agree with HoHo on this one. He is correct that you do not have to pay those tickets. They are not sent to the license bureau and although they are signed by a police officer, they have no bearing on your driving record. They will send them to a collection agency but it will not reflect negatively on your credit report if you do not pay the fine. There is absolutely nothing they can do about it if you do not pay! Do not be scammed. If you need proof you can look it up in the city charter.

Francis and Mojo, its people who like you who are allowing your rights to erode away. The police do not handle the tickets. The company who makes the cameras does. I have gotten 10 tickets since they came into effect and have not had any problems whatsoever with my refusal to pay these illegal tickets. This "do as you're told, do not question the government" thing you believe in is bullshit.

The point is, if you pay these illegal tickets, youre allowing your rights to be taken away piece by piece. A ticket you get in the mail is NOT the same as a ticket you get in person. IN FACT, it says in the citation itself that it doesnt affect your credit, insurance or driving record. You know how I know this? Because I have had 10 notices sent to my house that say so!

HoHo, I certainly do not defend those traffic cameras in any way, shape, or form. I just find it hard to believe that a lawyer would be advising you that if you don't pay them there are no consequences.

If there were no consequences for non-payment, no one would pay them.

I have not received any of thiese camera tickets so the issue has not come up in my life.

All I asked for was a link to a source on this statement you made that it will have no impact on your credit rating.

It's all well and good that you have received 10 tickets and not paid them and it's done you no harm. But I don't know much about you. Maybe you don't care about your credit rating just as you don't care what diseases a crackwhore has when you have intercourse with her without a condom.

As far as them being illegal tickets, unfortunately the Ohio Supreme Court upheld them this year. So, if you wanna get rid of the cameras, you gotta elect politicians in your cities who are opposed to them.

Oh, and in what way does the 4th Amendment apply?

Francis and Mojo, its people who like you who are allowing your rights to erode away. The police do not handle the tickets. The company who makes the cameras does. I have gotten 10 tickets since they came into effect and have not had any problems whatsoever with my refusal to pay these illegal tickets. The point is, if you pay these illegal tickets, youre allowing your rights to be taken away piece by piece. A ticket you get in the mail is NOT the same as a ticket you get in person. IN FACT, it says in the citation itself that it doesnt affect your credit, insurance or driving record. You know how I know this? Because I have had 10 notices sent to my house that say so!

Oh, and lookie here! One Ohio judge had enough sense to overturn these illegal tickets, and forced the corrupt company to repay the morons who were stupid enough to pay these tickets:
