15th Ave Bookstore

Hey folks, newbie here and I just this afternoon went to the Melrose ABS for the first time. A double newb!

There were two ladies in the theater when I arrived, waited a brief time for a turn at a cute BBW with glasses (sorry hun, forgot your name I was so nervous! ) Then had a WAY too brief a turn. (Sorry again, hun! )

Within a half hour of deciding to find out the skinny. That's 30 minutes, boyos, or count to 1800. I managed to get the info from not one but TWO sources. The Internet is a marvelous thing. If only it had existed when I first started hobbying I could have saved myself some $$ and frustration (see my post under first times for a laugh at a naive young suburban bumpkin)

Anyhow, that's my rant. I hope this lasts a good long time, but what good thing ever does?

The "hot times" vary based on the schedule of the women who attend regularly. They show up at different times ranging from during the day to late at night, but from what I have been able to figure out your best shot if you are going to take a shot in the dark is Friday or Saturday evening/ night maybe 8pm to midnight. Having said that, if you really want to improve your odds I would join their yahoo group. Most of the regulars post when they are going to be there several days in advance. Often when one posts she will be there others show up as well. After 2-3 dry runs (no pun intended) at dead times I decided not to even bother unless I saw a post saying someone I was interested in was going to be there at a time convenient for me. Since then I have not been disappointed.

What a place, I have been to many a swing club out west and the two good ones in indy. I would have to say we are one lucky group to have the playhouse in our back yard. Only the red rooster in Vegas compares and I heard that is going down hill because they are not letting single guys in to the group areas any longer. Yesterday was wild. I made my first visit here after reading the great reviews. I stopped in today around noon. Not any action, but I paid the 20 to go in back and look around.
