Strip Club Reports

Good economic and business analysis. I'm willing to give the club stakeholders a TED talk on price elasticity of demand.

PTs is great example I wrote the club off after they took this route and didn't realize they had reversed course. After reading the previous report I pretty took Dancers out of my May return lineup. Furthermore it will word of mouth effects. I guy I know comes to Indy from SW Ohio due to better value available here. He primarily goes to the closer BBF but would occasionally want to try Dancers that will be gone now.

Even raising the minimum we effect the nome for dancers for me my base purchase was 2 dances normally and unless girl did a horrible job would add a tip. Can't see myself paying 50 + tip. Well unless entire market goes to $25 base price.

What is BBF pricing? I remember reading of some increases there but that must have been seen in another message board as I didn't see reports here when I scanned back. My memory might be rusty but thought that was related to the time or cost of the timed room.

Even the girls charging a lower price can be hurt here since customers might not want to spend time going around asking one girl after another what their lap dance price is trying to find the girl doing the $25 dollar dance. Some girls will also try to haggle over prices and many customers don't like that. They are there to have fun, not argue with a stripper how much she should charge.

It's not surprising a young girl wouldn't think about this but the club owners and management are supposed to have more business experience and should be able to foresee all this. Most clubs have figured out over the years a set price is best and it is usually in a narrow range that depends on the local market. You don't see one dollar dances or thousand dollar dances because the one dollar dances would lead to too many customers while the thousand dollar dances will lead to no customers.[/QUOTE]

I went to Babes Saturday night and was very surprised. When I walked in, the club was completely full of customers and there was not an empty table to be seen. Whatever fear there was of COVID seems to be totally gone. I don't think I've seen it that full in the 11 years I've been going there. So the club seems to have recovered as far as the number of customers showing up.

Where this club hasn't recovered is in the attractiveness of the dancers. Ten years ago on a Saturday night there might have been three or four good looking girls. This night there were none. Zero, zip, zilch, nada. Ten years ago there might have been three or four couples in the back doing lap dances. This night, during the half hour I was there, the lap dance area was totally unused.

There's two possibilities here. One is this is just a continuation of a long term trend. The other is that the epidemic had some negative effect. I think the pandemic just accelerated an already existing trend. A large percentage of customers there now are black guys, Mexican guys and the douchebag white guy type. Instead of spending money on the girls they want other guys to spend money on the girls while they just hang out, drink and try to look cool. The fact that this club now has high entrance fees and low drink prices encourages guys looking for a cheap way to get drunk to show up here.

I've noticed this same thing to a lesser extent in other local clubs. Local clubs, and this one in particular, seem to have gotten a reputation among attractive young females as a place where they aren't going to make money so, while customers are showing up in droves, they are staying away in droves. Pretty young females have lots of options and having a bunch of cheap ass drunks sitting there ignoring them is not high on their list of things they want to do on a Saturday night. I wouldn't put the blame completely on the customers, though. I've been in the club in the past when there were pretty dancers there but they were obnoxious or arrogant, partied instead of focusing on work, stared at their phones, gave mediocre lap dances or acted unprofessional in other ways. Guys with money to spend may, to a certain extent, have decided they weren't going to come in for that and once they stopped showing up these girls couldn't make a living as a stripper.

Many just want to take it easy during covid but angel at Rio on days is still there to work for your dollar and wants to go to back and earn her way. Worth it for those that looking for a new one or do not know her yet.

What are her stats? Worth a visit you say?

So there we are. He got a kick out of the story he told me later and I suggested I change dancers!

He told of his rather bizarre incident he had and his potential health concerns.

Being someone who looks at the lighter side of life his story was so unusual I actually thought he was making a joke. My reply to his post was meant only to be tongue-in-cheek.

It's obvious now that he wasn't making a joke and understandingly had serious concerns.

Mr popular I'm glad you were tested and everything came back negative.
