So do you realize that chances are these ladies are not the owner. Yes I have seen some MTs that were the owner. The MTs probably do not set the prices. You might get lucky if they tell the owner and then you might get even more lucky if the owner considers lowering the price.
Rents are going up along with everything else. This is the present state of our economy. But you have every right to complain and walk out but please be respectful because these ladies are just doing what they are told.
I agree with you whole heartedly. There is never a time or reason to be disrespectful to anyone in this or any other business, even the owners, but especially the MTs that are putting in work. I don't know how that system works, but I do understand that the girls are likely under a lot of pressure just to be here and don't want to mess up that opportunity. They put in lots of time at work, often 12 hrs a day /7 days a week, with little or no time of their own, and have few options outside of their workplace. They absolutely deserve to be treated kindly. I am generous with my gratuity when service is good where ever I go, whether it's food, adult beverages, entertainment or relaxation, but I personally do not like to be pressed for larger door fees, tips or surcharges when service is poor or less than expected, and my expectations have never been unreasonable. Over the years, there have been a few places in the area that I have enjoyed, but many that I have not. I have in the past and will continue in the future to vote with my pocketbook on where / if I choose to go and how often if / when I decide to return. I'm not calling for a boycott, just reminding myself to be thoughtful about how I spend my discretionary funds, LOL. Unfortunately, when 'standard fees' go up for those that deserve it, others will follow, including the those that don't take care of or are disrespectful to their customers. That's just how the economy works. I enjoy and encourage the discussion, thanks for posting.
