The popunder fires once every 24 hours and it's one of the things that keeps the site free.

A2[/BLUE][/QUOTE]Well I'm having it on 2 different PC's with Firefox AND Chrome. Most of the time the phantom window opens, sometimes not. It usually does. I clean both pc's weekly with PC Matic and this continues. It's not the end of the world, but something is different now from the past. Since other members are getting it also, I'm guessing it's not just me.

[blue]It's not possible. There's a timer written into the code that looks at the time stamp on the cookie. The other members don't echo your concerns, all the recent posts they put up say once a day.
It's simply not possible that it happens every time you, and only you click a link. It's still a windows computer, it's still Firefox and Chrome, it's either once for everybody or every time for everybody. Unless, as I said, you're clearing your cookies or have inhibited your cookies, then it would happen every time regardless of the browser or OS.

Unless something has changed since I was a tech, they just can't go to your computers and shut down a cache clearing program or turn cookies on. . Or can they -. - ?

If you log in from chrome, the popunder fires once for chrome for the day. If you log in from a smartphone like the iphone the same day, the popunder fires for the day on your smartphone. So if you did log in from two different computers like a chromebook and one using firefox, then the popunder did fire once each time for the day. It popping up every time you click something on this site though is not possible unless as the moderator said you have something going on with your cookies or are clearing your cookies all the time.

I can confirm this to be the case.
The site is working as it is designed.

If you log in from your chrome on this site for the first time on a new day you are going to get the pop up for the day on your chrome. If you clear the history on your chrome on the tools on your chrome then log back into this site on the same day you will get the pop up again. I do click on ads once a while since this site probably makes money on clicks and I don't mind supporting these guys.

These weren't pop-up ads, they were simply blank browser pages that I had to close. Anyway, problem is gone.
