I date plenty of healthy women, and I use that term accurately. If they are 5'8" and 157 lbs they look great to me. If they are 5'1" at the same weight, that's a BMI of 29.7 (BMI=25+ is categorized as overweight, BMI=30+ is obese) so not so much. That's why I included her listed height as well. The reverse also applies. At 5'1", 105 lbs is going to look great to me. At 5'8" it's going to be unhealthy and unattractive. What you are describing is only "normal" in the sense of "common", not in the sense of "biologically normal and healthy". 42% of Americans are obese, and a further 32% are overweight, 74% in total (CDC data from 2020). You're absolutely right that makes it common. But it doesn't make it healthy or (for me) attractive. (BMI is not a complete and reliable metric, but it's good enough for the point here.).
